  3. As i noticed, the ambient_world is changing the light for the whole map (indoor and outdoor). I want only a simple sunshine from an angle with paralell lights, like in the real world, which causes shadows....etc. My map has a lot of outdoor part and I have to make this outdoor light. I inserted a light into an outdoor part, but the resault was horrible. What do i have to use? Omni, or projected light? Each has paralell option.

  6. Ok, I finished a project (medal of honor cooperative mod) and because Gamespy will be dead and there is no other friendly solution in the horizont, I continue the work on the RTCW map. I checked other fms before it, and I'm 100% sure that I cannot product those professional details by the entities what I saw in other maps, but the brushes and lights will be ok (I hope)
  7. Of course, it's up to you. My only target is that someone finish it, because I worked 2,5 months on it and I don't like if it going to waste. Important thing, that I didn't duplicate the original map, because it was impossible (to me). I built it from zero and I had modify it in many parts, because I had to cennect the first 2 maps and many rooms had "collision" problem. For example if you remember there was a room with wine-barrels on the second map. i had to push down with one flooer...etc. The map is fully nonlinear, which means you can travel on roofs or hallways. But nevermind, if you have to collect the loots, you have to infiltrate in every room. I planned a bonus lower level with undeads as a fully new part (because it would be an earlier status of the castle which is fully locked in the age of rtcw) To be honest I would like to send the files only in that case if someone say that ok, I'll continue.

  11. Hello guys, Here is some shots of my half maded maps. I hope you can realize which was the original game ))) From pic5 I had to raise the gamma with 50%, because there aren't still any light.
  12. Hello guys, 2 months ago I start to build a really large and complex map, but it seems I have no time to finish it. This map would be an extended remake from an other, old, cool and popular game (of course I don't want to tell here which game is it). I connected the first 2 maps (big castle) + I wanted to join the 3. map (which is a very special map) but I have no more time. I made new terrains and now you can walk into those buildings, levels and parts of the map which was only as "background" buildings in the original game. The original game was linear, but in this case you can make your own ways on roofs...etc. Really-really complex map. The brush works (expect doors) are complely done, but of course you can modify it. If you are interested in please send me a pm and I'll give any details + and if youwant/can continue the works I'll send the files! I used original Darkradiant materials. I planned to add a crypt level below the castle as a bigger addition, but the time is a big lord... Waiting for your reply, because I don't want to waste the last 2 months + this great map.

Hello Guys, I uploaded a video about the full walkthrough to here: (the video is full linear, because I cutted off the failed tryings) 1 important bug: don't KO the guard which is near the entrance of the Maze, because you'll be teleported into the snowy area, and you can back only 1 time from there!
  14. Yes, I made a small chapetr where you have to shoot the button which is behind an iron grate (like in the film The Fish Called Wanda:))

  16. hmmm. I use vine arrow on a full vertical surfaced wall which has "rough_big_blocks02" texture, but doesn't work. The arrow recoils from the wall and after it falls to the ground, start to "dancing" (maybe there is a problem with the collision model) + I can pick it up again.
  17. Hey, How can I make a shootable button which can be activated by arrow? Or can I add a shootable property to an existing frobable button? Thank you!
  18. Would be nice if AI can use the ladders (and ropes:). For example in RTCW (2001) the AI could use them easily up and down. +I'm very missing the Thief2 entities, like: robots, mech-watches....etc. The T2-entites could bring new "dimensions" into the mod.
  19. 1-2 years ago I stopped to play the Dark Mod, because I hated this FM. It was a very strange and different FM from the regulars and it was too much for me then. Now I play again all FMs in order of their release date and I think that this FM is one of my favourte! Congratulations! )) This is the second map where I found every loot, but to be honest I also didn't find that Thanks for the forum-help. I also found that strange bug: The walking ghosts kept their hairs, their head and face missing only. So their hair is in the air:) It came from the new game versions? (I played it with TDM 2,01)
