  1. Currently running through Witcher 2 - haven´t played it yet, but then I am looking forward to this I have seen this quest on youtube and I was laughing loudly (same way I was when I heard in a certain patch for a base game they deployed "bowine protecion force") - I have heard there are several (all?) quests in this datadisk (yes, this is datadisk) that are well written and downright funny - little red riding hood, girl with the matches from Hans Christian Andersen, quest with the bank, etc...
  2. I savored this mission as a last in my playthrough, mainly because I feared I wouldn´t be able to enjoy it properly on my then low-end machine. Meanwhile, my long awaited new computer arrived, so I was able to enjoy it without a hitch and I can´t even begin to tell how enjoyable it is to play a mission of this size on a smooth framerate. And a mission itself? There haven´t been done a mission of this scope yet, not in Darkmod. There were missions which had parts of either leveldesign (Return to the City comes to mind) or loot dispersion used like this and they seemed like a promises of things to come, but never in such a grand scale - this is that promise come true. Leveldesign is simply fantastic, story gripped you and I am curious as to how it will unfold. There are many points of entry and I am sure there are streets I haven´t been, judging by the map, yet I played this mission for 6 and a half hour straight! This must have been an enormous amount of work and bugfixing (thanks, Bikerdude and team!). If the rest of the missions in Crucible of Omens will be of this quality, we are in for a treat. 5 out of 5, without hesitation.

Mine is a Falcon Northwest rig I had built in 2012. It's just starting to show a bit more age now. Still kickin great though!

Falcon looks sweet and it´s good to know they will last so long :)

I didn't get mine custom painted, but when I need a new rig I know where I'm going again B)

  4. Interesting, I had no idea it was vague on purpose, because I didn´t feel it as vague, rather typical "put pieces of puzzle together and make a whole picture, clues are out there" as a good Thief player should So far, my favourite mission out of the last few missions. Also, level design in this one is sweet Last three (newest) missions to go.
  5. Golden Skull is golden :)

  6. Congratulations on the release, Sotha - you now, it was 4:00 PM in the morning when I decided to go to sleep (bank holiday, does´t have to work tomorrow), and just peek into the forums, whether something new wasn´t released. It was So I played... till 5:50 in the morning - see what Thief/Dark Mod fan missions make me do? Even after all these years, this is one of the few games where I just get welded to the monitor and can´t put it down - especially when I read in the chat that it should be small. Well, to me it seemed rather medium-sized. That terrible feeling though, that engulfed me when building the suspicion, as to All in all, well done canapé! End of report. Back to Shadowrun:Hong Kong.
  7. Same with me - I haven´t been am member there, but I knew about its existence. Anyway, nice to see another "virtual expatriate"
  8. Had no idea you´re from Slovakia, Petike Say, weren´t you active in the old Slovak Thief fan forum - http://thief.pukaco.sk ?
  9. I must say, having to kill someone (required by a story) as oppose to sneak past them was a refreshing change Just out of curiosity, if player would use gas arrow on the boss of the usurpers, would that still count as kill? Also, dev team, would it be possible to implement option to remap key binding for console in the next patch/update? I always have to press ctrl+alt+ tilde, whereas I would like to press just tilde for quicker access. If it is possible to remap it even now by modifying some file, please, do show me how or point me to link dealing with this topic.
  10. You must be joking, CDPROJEKT RED are gonna work on this? Inspired by Thief? Very excited for this, very excited
  11. Just finished House of a Locked Secrets. Speechless.

      It's a good one, that's for sure.

Aye! Certainly one of the top tier missions. Professional quality.

  12. Gelo, Wau. Where to even start? This.Mission.Is.Brilliant! Can´t thank you guys enough for this. It took me some time to finish this mission, because of real life issues, though i started playing it the second day it was released! What should I praise first? Well told story? Graphical feast? Optimization? I´m not even gonna start with "this mission looks fantastic" it looks fantastic. New gameplay mechanic (spiritual/material world), complete with different items and health bars is brilliant, simple (though I am not so sure if it was simple to implement it technically) and effective. What I immediately noticed was secret location counter - every time you found one, small message displayed, showing how much of items have you discovered. This might seem like a simple thing, but I wish all the subsequent games would have this feature - personally it does not break the immersion for me and informs me ingame how much secrets I still have left - by no means i have discovered all of them, some of them were cleverly hidden and even though I consider myself a thorough person while playing, I was able to find out only 4 of 6 and 7 of 15. For the location of the rest of them, I was watching FenPhoenix´s video Also, I must say I was chuffed to find out you named one of the characters after me! After me! That never happened to me before and I felt honored. I have a feeling this mission raised a bar here Again, thanks all you guys who participated on this, this is a wonderful treat of a mission.
  13. I don´t remember exactly, but I either found out about it through TTLG/Eidos forums or just googled it somewhere. I remember though I heard about it waay back, like in 2007, and saw the preview mission on Youtube (Blackheart Manor - it was never released, to my knowledge - if it was, please, send me a link, because I wanna play it soo badly!). Since then I was "following" the project (loaded up the forum/page once per month or so) and when it was finally released back in 2009 I was playing the heck out of the first missions! I still remember how laggy was Tears of St. Lucia 1.0 Since then I played every single mission available (based on Dark WIki) and I am checking page/forum regularly (once in two/three days).
  14. Listening to Dragonfall - DC OST. Perfect. Tose of you who haven´t played the Dragonfall yet, do consider. Imho, one of the best games of this year.

  15. Wasteland 2 all the way - starting today! :) One happy backer here :)

Aand comabt is really hard for me, maybe it wasn´t the best idea to start your first game on Ranger difficulty :P

    3. Airship Ballet

      Airship Ballet

I did exactly the same thing, and did the entire Ag Center without ever visiting a trader. The saboteur took me so, so long to beat. Those rabbits, though... it's a serious love/hate relationship with the game.

  16. Thinking about what should I install next (pondering about Baldur´s Gate: EE), after finishing ME3, which was very, very bad :(

    1. Airship Ballet

      Airship Ballet

You should get 6 people together and have a big nerdy Baldur's Gate night, drinking game optional.

  18. Hm, I wasn´t able to find said chest, but after your advice about I noclipped in storage area and was able to find one in the more upper storage deck. Thanks to that I had enough money to thick the money objective off (honestly, spices and herbs are pretty confusing objective title, one might thing you MUST find some kind of spices, so I was looking for some kind of pouch or small crates, whereas mapper simply had in mind good ol´ loot - just wanted to give it a new spin by naming it differently) and set things further in motion. Overall, unique, short and interesting mission. Definitely congratulations on your first release!
  19. Hello everybody, So I am enjoying this unique mission, I was able to take the book and treasure, but I still wasn´t able to tick optional objective about finding a good hiding spot for my good later. I already scouted through the whole ship and didn´t dind any. What am I missing? PS: Oh, and where can one find medicinal spices? I thought maybe in cook´s place, but I couldn´t find any.
  20. Almost one year in Debrecen today. Heading to Aquaticum to day, to have some fun...

  21. Reputation to uphold is very well constructed mission, both gameplay and aesthetic-wise (+ no lags on my low-end machine)!

      Thanks! Glad to hear it.

  22. Congratulations on the release. This is one of those missions which starts out pretty simple, then the objectives slowly just keep adding, not knowing when it might end I liked that. Also liked the mildly challenging clue with safe combination + note in journal of one culprit (is there actually one page missing? Because I haven´t found it anywhere) - jab on the cliché when everybody is writing their transgressions down, hoping no one would read them. Also, this is the first mission with cameras, if I am not mistaken?
