Yes I saw that for 8 not 7, so please as I said I need an idiots guide what, and more importantly how do I correct it?

I wonder if a kind person could give me an idiots guide to fm loading and renameing as I cannot get them to work. I downloaded patently dangerous to my desktop. ie7 , it said it was a zip file so I unzipped to fms in darkmod .nothing works training mission ok ,thanks in advance

I NEED SOME HELP PLEASE I have downloaded the updater exe made a folder in c/programfiles/doom3 called darkmod and put the exe in it.try to start it a window opens and closes so fast I cannot read what is in it and nothing happens.doom 3 is patched ok Any suggestions please. running vista
