Another silly sign: A restaurant near us has a sign that tells you when they're open. Unfortunately, it's an electric sign and when the restaurant's closed, the sign is turned off. So if you pull up off-hours to see when you can go there to eat, the sign is off and you can't read it.

Doesn't that get the essential message across? If the sign says they're open, they're open. If not, they're not.
