As far as I know (and googled) you can't choose any encoder. YouTube uses avc automatically for your videos. You get the better vp9 encoder if you upload high quality videos (as I mentioned before) or if you have many seen videos. I played and tested with different video formats and upscaled the resolution to 1152p and it all ended with getting the avc-codec. (Found several old video tutorials which don't work anymore) So for today (22-02-04) you should upload your video in 1440p 60 fps and you will get the vp9-codec. This may not look as good as the recorded video, but way better than a video with the avc-codec. If your high resolution gets vp9 all other resolutions will get vp9 as well (will take some minutes or even hours). To compare this codecs, I made a screenshot of the same video with avc and vp9 codes, both videos played at 1080p and on the exact same time paused. Here is the vp9-codec: and here is avc-codec:

Doesn't seem to work anymore, all videos get the avc codec which sucks like hell... Atm the only way as a small youtuber to get the vp9 (the much better quality)-codec is to upload a video in 1440p with 60 fps. I'll keep that in mind for the next mission Ill play.

I read many times, that you can get better video results for your videos if you upscale them by small amounts (e.g. uspacle 1080p to sth like 1152p). This is 1 year old and I need to verify if it's still true. But IF it is, you would get better bitrates for the same video quality.

handbrake doesn't support upsizing anymore... https://handbrake.fr/docs/en/1.3.0/advanced/resizing-video.html I dont wanna start commandline just to upscale a video. Ill make some test if small upcaling still helps the overall video quality.

Finished The Old Habbits 1 Mission! (in 2.10) Here is the YT-Link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j-UPl0XW4TI It's frustrating to upload a 8 gig video (for almost 1 day) in extreme quality to see it butchered like this Each interesting moment is at the start of a chapter - except the total mission start. I would recommend to fix the few glitches and especially add sth like: "go back where you came from" as and ending trigger. Else it's still a great mission!

next one: You said for updating you need to use the tdm_installer. I don't even have one, the game folder only includes the tdm_update and theDarkModx64 as spllication data. Ofc I can download one from you website but thats not upgrading the game (Sorry to be so precise, Im just worried about people with low PC knowledge) The new installed DM lacks the updater and has an installer, the 32bit? and 64bit app-version in it.. Maybe I still have a real old installation of the game???

Reporting a bug which is here pretty long (Still on the 2.09) When you select a mission and click download it starts as it should (also for multiple missions). But then you can add even more missions which are shown as queued. But only in the GUI. When all downloads (which were there before pressing download now) are finished, later added missions are gone. So please let us either add them to the queue for real or disable this option.

hey, I know I'm asking a lot, but after so many years and so many nice Fan Mission, I would be really happy if you could change the download mission screen. I Think it needs more detail overall: My suggestion is to improve release date, author, title and size to at least: an official version number & last updated (still seeing the original release) and an option to sort all missions alphabetically, per release and per updated date. greetings Mc

nice mission just a little bit blurred at the outside from the ship if you look away. and the book is stuck so i cant continue (1st i read it, then took the treasure and read it again) but funny treasure around the ship and i could just k.o the cook if you fix this bug its really nice .

i broke the story line when i picked the wrong scroll and could get our of the cage ^^ then i kod the bad hammerite and was happy 2 haved saved before... but where the hell is this damn soul stone? im up in the last? tower with the hint of the last magician who sealed the dimension portal with this soul stone but the stone ist there...

omg, i just missed 1 door... the one room with the rusted key ^^

i can't get out of the station ^^ i found the same key 2 times but im still missing the key 4 the sewers. i know 2 dead men but both neither have the key on or under them...

ok thx so i just have to find the tool and open the gate ;-) a little strange is that the most things dont highlight as the iron peaces, the crystals etc just the loot is highlighting... the tool wasnt found but i think the readables give some clues for it ^^ u've well hidden the 4th cheese Greetz Mc

sure im no native english.speaker ^^ my wrong grammer or bad compositions of words should tell everyone ;-) but as long as u can understand me and get the point of my view i think its fine if there are furthermore changes to have missions in other languages ill try my best to help (if i have some time left) but this is only possible (for me) from english to german. in this mission i did not know anything ^^ i found 8 crystal pieces and get an objectice completed. i also found 3 cheeses and think i have to get 1 more but im not sure... even the words for the cheese in the menu differs for the one in the objective (if it is 1 ^^ ) so im totally lost.. i opened all doors and chests, got enough loot but have an objective missing i dont understand and perhaps the cheesy one. and btw why should i steal 4 pieces of old cheese? greetz Mc

i want an english version too ;-) the mission looks nice but if u have no story or cant read anything its really strange btw which language is it?

hi, i was able to turn off the catalyst ai some mins ago: i found something very useful with google and tried it myself: 1. In CCC set up your AA & AF settings, make sure that Catalyst AI is set to "High Quality", and make sure that the "Enable Surface Format Optimization" check box is unchecked before continuing. 2. Search for a file named 'Profiles.xml'. Mine was located here: C:\Users\McPhisto2051\AppData\Local\ATI\ACE\Profiles.xml 3. Right click on the file once the search is done and select "Edit". 4. Find 'CatalystAI' and change Enable to Disable 5. Now run the MOM.exe file. Mine was located here: C:\Program Files (x86)\ATI Technologies\ATI.ACE\Core-Static\MOM.exe 6. Restart your PC and you should be set. Now you can use the latest drivers and CCC and disable Catalyst AI. it really worked. but i wanna say i did not see MOM.exe working even if i clicked it about 3 times. GL & HF.

does the ingame DL have the newest mission now?

there a very easy way in the kings tomb :-) because im still 2 stupid 2 use spoilers ill try to write it in white ;-) u need 2 of ur 3 water arrow to extinguish the torches and the enter the room crouching through the middle. perhaps 1-2 spiders will follow u but they never really seen u and should not get u. u can open the grave and grab the crown while the ghost is really close to u ;-) have fun with my way ^^ greetz Mc
