  1. I solved it my way: I can add up to 3 keys for my gamepadbutton, which I use as "run-toggle"-button. The first key I use for "toggle pm_walkspeed 120 60" the second key for "toggle pm_stepvol_walk 8 0". The third and last key I want to use is for the running footsteps! I need a toggle-cmd for this, the first value should be the running sound! I thought it´s "toggle pm_min_stepsound_interval 100 200", but I can´t hear any difference when I use this so I must be wrong. I repeat: I need a cmd for toggling the running footsteps and then the walking footsteps! But the most easy thing would be to enable the in_togglerun -function!! I hope, you can help me with this!!
  2. from the wiki: in_toggleRun: If set to 1, causes the run button to act as a toggle. That´s what I mean, it only works in MP, I tried it!! As for the LightGem: I mean in size! In Thief 1&2 it was this cfg-command: vismeter_zoom 100

  4. Hi there, for my Gamepad Control I really need the RunToggle activated! The console says, it´s only for MP! Is there a way/console command to activate it for SP? I´m now working with "toggle pm_walkspeed" but I don´t know the exact value, 200 is far too much(I saw, you´re using some modifiers), and this way I haven´t the louder footsteps and the bob is maybe wrong too. The Runtoggle-function would solve this issue I have. I don´t have enough buttons on my Gamepad! By the way: How to decrease the LightGem?
  5. When I downloading other stuff I have speeds up to 900 kb/s, but the average is 320 kb/s. But I have to add, that I use W-Lan and when my cat is sleeping in front of my pc, the signal is only 50 %, on best times it is 71 %. The poorest speed I had without this, was 85 kb/s.
  6. Ha, thanks! I just deleted the space in my Doom3-Folder-name, now all works fine.
  7. Maybe it was a fault: I started the DarkMod from the Doom3-Mod-Menu, cause I played Doom3 before and just wanted to look at the darkmod. All went fine, but when I installed the Training Mission I only see the console in big and a false "Doom3.exe"-command, it seems it can´t handle the blank in my gamepath. (the path is: 1_Games\Doom 3\DarkMod\) I thought the pathname is up to me? Same when I start with the darkmodlauncher. When I start the Training Mission from Doom3-Mod-Menu it just loads the original game. (the fourth difficult is now available) I deleted the Training Mission-folder in the Doom3 Mainfolder and tried again the launcher, the same, but without the warning message, that is included in the screenshot. I see the DarkMod-Logo and then the console. I can only access the DarkMod successfully from the Doom3-Mod-Menu. But after I installed the Mission, it only appears in Doom3, not in the Darkmod. Again: the warning on the screenshot came, when I started the DarkMod-Training Mission out of Doom3. When I try the DarkModLauncher, there is only the message about the "3\Doom3.exe"-thing. I included another Screenshot from the TDM-Update-Download, because it seems not right, maybe because of this "ambient"-issue I posted in another thread. http://modetwo.net/d...d-ambient02pk4/ I fear the solution is to re-install everything in a certain path!?

  9. Is Doom3 running correct? I had for myself problems with this Nvidia driver, but in my case Doom3 didn´t even started! Now I´m using the 195 version but I can´t tell if DarkMod is running correct ´cause I´m still downloading, it must be six hours by now....
  10. Actually I´m using "JoyToKey", it´s the best there for free. But I´m not happy with it. As for Doom 3 I found a very good one: "Pinnacle Game Profiler"! But it´s not for free. The very good thing here: it downloads a profile for Doom3: When you push the left stick a little you´re walking and when you reach a specific threshold you´re running! This is very good but I couldn´t get this function to work in JoyToKey and I wasn´t able to find an alternative program(I´m not interested in shareware)! If someone does know, how to add keys to certain threshold-parameters, please tell me!!! I found another program called "AutoHotkey", but it uses script only and I´m not able to understand how it works for my Gamepad... As for Doom3: I tried everything to add the Joystick-Support, but nothing worked out. It seems it´s really not in the code. Very sad. I really hope you guys are able to make it possible. I heard in Quake3 it was still implemented and I assume this is the most similar engine/code to Doom3, so maybe you can just "copy" something? I know, I know, it´s not that easy, at least I think so...
  11. I added a screenshot of what I mean. In the end it worked out, but I fought you guys should know, if you didn´t already! As you can see, my download speed is very low(as I speak it is 23 kb/s); is this due traffic or just "me"?
  12. Hi, i couldn´t find anything for Doom 3 Gamepad Support. But for the Darkmod it would be perfect, for me. In the first two Thief´s (didn´t tried Thief 3 yet) I used the left stick for walking (how much you push is how fast you´re walking) and I LOVE this! It adds a more realistic feeling and more suspense when sneaking up behind a guard and I would be happy to use this in the dark mod! I used this on the game "SiN", which has the quake2-engine and hopefully Doom3 uses the same commands, I have to try... The rest of the commands could be emulated with something like "Joy2Key". I´m always using "Mouselook" with the right Stick, it´s more sensitive. I would be happy, if the X and Y axis would be supported by the game!
  13. Ok, THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!! It´s working now!! You´re right, there is "Nvidia Driver" in the Software List, but it´s so little, I thought it´s the wrong thing. I used the Device Manager for uninstall... But I don´t understand this ATI thing, there are several files, and they´re still on the list after I "cleaned" them!? But the main thing is, DOOM 3 is running now! Thanks for helping me out!!
  14. Ok, I have Driver Sweeper and the 195 driver version, but I don´t know how to "uninstall" the actual driver!? It´s not in my Software-List. And, I just run the Sweeper and it shows me "ATI-Display" files! I never had an ATI on this system and can´t remember downloading drivers. Is this an emulating thing from Nvidia or is there something wrong? Thanks for help.
