  1. Lust for Darkness. Probably another Generic Horror Game but the Sex Horror theme seems interesting. The Gameplay looks almost like it was a DM Mission.
  2. Well. You already got the layout working and that's something. It does have DX vibes. DX1 is pretty different to DX2 HR and the other one. For me, DX is the winning formula and the others sort of pushed the concept to a more Metal Gear wanna be. In consequence losing its uniqueness by trying to be/compete with elements that have been done/thought already.
  3. You should try and contact the Russians who made 2027 mod. They might have some useful stuff. I think GMDX used some of their stuff at the begging. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=36OdLh69Qa4 I remember Dave saying he planned to eventually release his textures for use. Not sure what happened but you could also ask him. I would like to recommend doing something pretty small and similar to the Original DX like training Mission? To showcase the possibilities while attracting fans. I would also recommend to keep it within the Original DX1 concept of realism with a bit of technology to make it fun. Unless you're a fan of the Square Enix/Final Fantasy/Metal Gear wannabe that is DXHR.
  4. Outlooker, your inconsequential rants are derailing a much interesting topic as in why and how EA failed in Andromeda. I would like to read some insight cause I find this particular topic interesting although I'm not familiar with the franchise nor I have played this game before but here are some assumed theories based on what Ive read here so far: - Lack of diversity in the Team?: An all Female Team? No male insight? Was there a focal group created for this particular tittle? - A group of developers riding on the fan base of a well established game and wanted to inject their own ideas, views cause they thought the franchise was solid enough to withstand it? A very similar issue happened with New Thief and DXHR where developers wanted to inject their own ideas cause they thought the game was going to be a hit beforehand and they wanted to take credit just in case so it was not all adjudicated to the "Old Winning Formula" Created by a previous group of developers? This happens all the time in my line of work and I hate it. Very disrespectful to the Original concept. I also find the "Ugly" vs "Beautiful" quite interesting. Was all the characters in the game considered Ugly or ordinary looking? Cause if all were ugly or ordinary looking as they say. There was a lack of diversity as well cause beautiful people do exist.
  5. Well that's a shame cause the exterior area and the architecture outside seems to be the selling point of the mission.
  6. Hope this one gets updated. Too much lag in the outside area, perhaps too many light sources at the same time? Why would the guards carry torches if the patio is perfectly illuminated by torches already? Kind of redundant I think. The manor looks great. These are my favorite type of missions.
