  1. In the mission selection screen, mission names longer than a few words get chopped off at the right. Would it be possible to have line wrapping, with lines after the first one to be right-aligned?
  2. I second that request; my level is afflicted with it.
  3. It's about 17mb, most of that is pictures. The mission is a small to medium-sized city exploration level with a few slightly intricate sections.
  4. Hi everyone, I have finished my Christmas Connections mission, and now I'm looking for a few quick rounds of beta testing before I release on the 28th. If anybody is interested I will put up a thread in the Beta Testing section in a few hours. Thanks!

  6. If we keep putting out extensions we'll never finish. I was just about to post a beta test for my mission, aiming for a release on the 31st.

  10. Oh, I see. No, I don't see any reason to change it either. Unless there's a bunch of missions where the inventory scrolls to many pages it shouldn't be an issue.
  11. The easiest way is probably to just make a new copy of your whole TDM installation, and run the installer from in there.
  12. I'm using 2.10 beta 4, and the 1-9 keys work just fine for selecting weapons.

  14. Perfect! I had to fiddle a bit to get the trigger_once and the player exit to not compete with each other but I think I have it working now
  15. That will open the door when I am away from player_exit, and I already had that working more or less OK. What I was hoping for is this: you've been out on a dangerous mission, grabbed your special treasure and loot objective and it's time to come home. When you approach home, the door swings open welcomingly just as the screen fades to black and you get the "MISSION COMPLETE" text. The problem is that an objective that completes the mission does not trigger its Completion Target (or script) and I haven't been able to find a way to fake that behaviour.
  16. I've got another problem involving objectives that I can't figure out. I have a pretty standard set of objectives: get a specific item, get X amount of loot, go to the exit when you're done. But I want a door near the exit location to open when your objectives are done and you enter the info_tdm_objective_location. However, triggering the door using a Completion Target does not work- I'm guessing because the mission complete takes priority and never triggers it. How can I get this to work?
  17. Sorry, I mean the loading screen for the individual mission, with progress bar and such.
  18. This may be a stupid idea but why not do the following when you select a new mission to play: Select mission from downloaded missions list -> restart game if necessary -> mission loading/splash screen -> menu with "start mission", "load mission" etc. edit: my brain had a derp
  19. Can I just point out how funny it is that we're being so careful about taking things without permission... in a game about thieving
  20. It's possibly a consequence of the new jumping and mantling tweaks introduced in 2.08? That's just a guess though. All I know is, in my Christmas Contest level mantling onto a door lets you parkour to an area you'd otherwise need crates to reach. It's a 128x56 and jumping at it face on sometimes causes me to stick.
  21. I did eventually get the "Player possesses item" thing to work but I still would like to know how to get pickpocket objectives to fire, for future reference. This is what I am looking at:
