  1. An interesting idea, although, despite the Steampunk aesthetic, TDM is not incompatible with magic items, as there were already in the different missions. Magical bridges and gates we have already seen it in Scroll of Remembrance, Accountant, Thomas Porter series and others. I think that a stone or magic object in this regard can be, therefore, very good to be part of a mission
  2. Yes, the new web standards certainly require certain APIs, but this has nothing to do with the fact that the vast majority of the APIs used, also in FOSS, are not necessary for compatibility with web pages and only serve to track the activity of the user. The basic problem is that trafficking in user data is a business to create income for different companies. But to create income there are also other methods that do not compromise the privacy and the rights of the users.
  3. The trend of tracking and surveillance practices of user activities, trafficking with this data, apart from being a violation of the right to privacy, is also a great security risk, since after this it is impossible to control what they do with this data and how they protect it. This is not the first time hundreds of thousands of user data have been leaked, including banking and medical data. Unfortunately to believe that it only happens in corporate and commercial products and not in FOSS is a great common mistake, FOSS is no guarantee, neither privacy nor security, since the reason and purpose of FOSS has nothing to do with this, but with the development and modification in new products. For this reason, it is precisely the large corporations, Microsoft, Facebook, Google and others, which develop the most FOSS products, with distance. The only thing the user can do is 1 Read the TOS and PP of the product well before use 2 Boycott as much as possible products that use these bad practices of tracking and surveillance. 3 Block and disable these 'spyware' as much as possible, either in the configuration, or by using some external protectors, in Windows for example using this 4 Optionally subscribe to initiatives, like this one, that want to require governments and legislators to prohibit such practices, because these clearly violates the legislation of most civilized countries, just as it is illegal for the postman, or for anyone else, to open your correspondence to read it before delivering it to you. But we say nothing when Google read your e-mail and sell your private data to advertisers.
  4. Yes, but it's only sound, no image (I tried in several browsers), maybe steemable is better for this typoe of files. The account is free and only needs Mail and Password, it delete the vids un the free account, when they are not viewed in 90 days. Try also Streemja, there is no account needed.
  5. Same for me in Streemable, well, anyway it's free and sometimes this sites change the TOS, when they want to limit the amount of uploads- The link of the downloadin the GoFile say it's not a public file. That means, if you want to share a file, you must declare it as public. It seems that he has forgotten to do it. Because of all this crap of the Sharesites, I stay witth File Direct, I open the app, put the files I want, can put the amount of permitted downloads and valid days or/and put a password, it gives me the download link which I share. I never lose the control over the files, I can even interrupt a download in any moment, no need putting them in a host, which may change the TOS or may delete the files after some time. The best alternative to File Direct is Arbore (still in beta), which works also in Linux. It include also a Chat P2P, the diference is, that you only can share the link via mail of your contacts in the list. This one maybe can be interesting for our devs to share information out of the public eyes.
  6. Of course, you can use this and any others I've put in this thread. No problem.
  7. Ask @JackFarmer for the last image I made, I think it's the best one, with difference. Maybe he let use it also in your game. Although I can provide it to you, I think it's fair to ask him first, since he uses it for his game as well.
  8. All the images I have put have severe copyright, it can only be used upon payment of $ 100 each.... Just kidding. They are images that you can use as you want, they do not have any type of license If you want, I can also make more specific images for your game (PM)
  9. Yes, but it's free Alternatively you can use GoFile, it's free, without register and for any filetypes https://gofile.io/welcome Great for sharing is also what I use, O&O File Direct, it's P2P (from PC direct to other PC, without host in the middle), free, easy to use, anonimous, no limits in size, number or type of files, but the app is only for Windows. https://www.oo-software.com/en/filedirect (Made in Germany) Need to be whitelisted in the Firewall of Windows, and the file or files can't be in a protected folder, which is logical. Naturally you must be online so that the recipient can download the file.
  10. Thank you very much, an honor. In case someone later wants this image as his wallpaper, the download link I gave you is still valid.
  11. It is not difficult to imagine knowing that half of the cultural assets of China, Egypt and India can be admired in the British Museum.

    Free games

Spooky's Jump Scare Mansion It is a first person game with simple graphics to explore an old mansion with 1000 rooms. The goal is to get to go through them. But it turns out that you're not alone, there are also unsavory characters who suddenly appear and are eager to see what your guts look like. Do not be fooled by the cute appearance of some spectres, the scares can be capitalized. Extremely fun, 3D and suitable for the most humble PC. Endless mode and more than 3-4 hour game https://store.steampowered.com/app/356670/Spookys_Jump_Scare_Mansion/ OS: Vista Processor: Intel Core i3 1.3 GHz Memory: 4 GB de RAM HD: 300 MB
  13. It's very respetable for a one man work, but I think it lacks for this to be good optimized. Even Thief or TDM are working in 4 Gb RAM, 32 bits, like in my old PC where I played it some years ago. Search FREE stealth games in Steam, you'll see what games are there with similar or less sys needs. Include the Tomb Raider which I have need less. With THIS graphics OS:Windows XP Service Pack 3, Windows Vista,7,8 (32bit/64bit) Processor:Dual core CPU: AMD Athlon64 X2 2.1 Ghz (4050+), Intel Core2 Duo 1.86 Ghz (E6300) Memory:1GB Memory (2GB on Vista) Graphics:DirectX 9 graphics card with 512Mb Video RAM: AMD Radeon HD 2600 XT, nVidia 8600 DirectX®:9.0c Hard Drive:12 GB HD space
  14. Looks interesting, although regarding the graphics, quite rudimentary, a requirement of 8Gb RAM specified as a minimum seems to me somewhat exaggerated.
  15. https://apnews.com/article/north-america-us-news-ap-top-news-evel-knievel-ca-state-wire-870b745abdfe41dfa3bb79b49d60f117 The self-taught rocket scientist who believes the Earth is flat propelled himself about 1,000 feet into the air before a hard-landing in the Mojave Desert that left him injured Saturday, March 24, 2018. Hughes tells The Associated Press that he injured his back but is otherwise fine after Saturday's launch near Amboy, Calif. (James Quigg/Daily Press via AP, File)
  16. I think this would be the simplest solution, another would be to use a newline in longer titles.
  17. In the download menu, missions are marked with * for updates and # for translations, but this is not visible in longer titles. Perhaps it would be better to mark it at the beginning of the title, or at the edge of the menu.
  18. A cover of Kashmir (Led Zeppelin) on an acoustic Guitar, from a young boy who shows that you can beatbox with a guitar. Marcin - Kashmir
  19. A 9 year old Girl with an cover of an old Screamin Jay Hawkins theme, with a own arrange of it. https://tube.cadence.moe/watch?v=nwFloCPXzCs I don't know what they feed today's kids
