  1. Okay, time for another quickie review. Positive: Good atmosphere, fun, very nice sewer, and Ai placement and patrol improved from first mission, Negative: Architecture could use some more work. A nice step up from your first mission...A little bigger and more complex...A good progression. You're headed in the right direction...
  2. As promised, just played this before doing "Breaking out the Fence". Positive: Nice interior design, music tension, use of small doors. Negative: Interior Ai patrols seemed unnaturally crowded, given the size of the house. A very nice first mission...
  3. Of course...What could be sweeter than recording live personal interaction, with voice and data...A governments wet dream.
  4. That was my initial feeling, as well.
  5. http://kotaku.com/fa...lion-1551487939 Hmmm...and I just recently ordered the DevKit2. Thoughts?
  6. Okay, played it. Positive: I liked the voice acting, and the dialog down in the sewer was well done. Also liked the rain, dripping glass, and hidden safe...Guard patrols were good...Well laid-out, and a nice beginning to a story. Negative: Too small, only one entrance, very straight forward. Overall, a good start...
  7. That's true...but they can't do that, because: 1) A thread with a poll can't be merged. 2) With too many aware onlookers, that tactic would backfire. Nice to see TDM smoking NuThief...
  8. On a brighter note...the poll over at Eidos has TDM leading by a score of 20, to NuThief's 12... http://forums.eidosgames.com/poll.php?do=showresults&pollid=3665
  9. The Dark Mod, is a game with a collection of decentralized narrative experiences, that utilize the same gameplay mechanics. Objectively: Centralized Narrative =/= Game Unlike a Story, a game does not need to have one unified narrative, to qualify it as a game. Some games have centralized narratives, while others do not...yet both are games. When you are playing any TDM mission, you are playing the game.
  10. Is life just a game, and death just the same? Welcome to the forum sq22...
  11. She presented a falsehood, and so I countered it...Yet, you are right. No need to go down that path...It's best if we end it here...
  12. You and I both know that's not true, and so do many others. What have we here?...Looks like someone recently caught you by the tail, but paid the price for keeping you honest... http://forums.eidosgames.com/showpost.php?p=1996048&postcount=25
  13. Once the rat is trapped, it will say anything to try and get out of the cage.
  14. Objectively, TDM is a game...It's not a subjective evaluation based on personal experience. But then again, discovering what is true, is not your primary motivation. No...Because she would give them a ToU violation penalty or ban them. This kind of "messaging control" is what she is used to.
  15. Yet, objectively TDM is a qualified game...so you've lost the arguement. This is a fact not an opinion. Now that your ignorance has been ruled out, all that is left is your confirmed vested interest, for everyone to see. We were done a long time ago...
  16. What you said was "TDM is not a game so I must exclude it"...So by your logic "All games that are not commercial games, are not games"...Which we both know isn't true, and you are caught again. It's a game, not a platform. Both you and Master Taffer continue to keep up this farce that TDM doesn't qualify as a game, in order to help influence a positive outlook for NuThief...and this poll is only one example of this behavior.
  17. No, you're wrong... TDM is absolute as a game, and Dark Radiant is absolute as a toolkit. This means that TDM is no less of a game than NuThief, yet also has public expansion potentional due to the Dark Radiant toolkit. http://www.thedarkmod.com/faq/ TDM IS A GAME
  18. ...This is hilarious!

  20. I think this thread should be titled "TDM is a Game", since any knowlegable and rational person knows that to be true. Also, many here like myself know of your vested interest, despite your lies and misdeeds...so you will never be able to dupe the community into thinking otherwise. Despite your despicable attacks, manipulations, and lies, the TDM forum embodies a much higher standard than that over-policed, naysayer-deleting, intellectually-dishonest Eidos forum. So do everyone a favor, and take yourself and your corrupt motivations back to that poor excuse of a forum.
  21. It's a ridiculous arguement, either way...TDM is an infinitely expandable game, that meets all the qualificatons of it being a game, at its core. It's as simple as that...To say otherwise, would be the result of either ignorance, or disingenuousness fueled by vested interest.
  22. But then it still wouldn't really be a "game" now, would it. Eventually, it'll probably come down to, "Well, if it's not a commercial AAA cinematic rail-ride, then it's not really a game".
  23. Of course, their corruption is clear...Stopping at nothing to unfairly discredit TDM, as an excuse to boltser the lesser NuThief. ...and like I said, one might want to reconsider a questionable association with a misguided project that holds a generally unfavorable public eye...Doing so would be sign of strength...a statement of fortitude, that reinforces the importance of authentic freedom and emergent gameplay...whilst at the same time, rejecting those who seek to twist and displace those essential values...now, and into the future.
