    I like watching Netflix shows and re-visiting my favorite scenes on mute while I try and write my own soundtrack over the top. This is from the awesome Westworld.

     

    I made sure there's no spoilers in the video. It's just someone getting a tour of the Westworld factory. None of the footage will spoil the show if you haven't already seen it.

    What this magnetic tape is doing and why its not rolled up on spool?

    I assume the metal bit above the tape is magnetic and causes the tape to react in a wave live fashion to create that choppy wavy effect that the Space Echo machines does so well. Old school vintage machines for the motherfucking win! I don't want to take the cover off machines and see static circuit boards. I want to see cogs and tapes moving about!

    Looks like they unknowingly used the wrong graphic when adding the logo to it for the screenshot in the article. The screenshot and logo were likely sent to someone in the graphics dept. and somebody along the line selected the wrong file.

    So does this mean that 2.04 will have no machine guns and Aztec Haunts? Jesus Christ!!!

    Yeah I'm going to put a gramophone in all of the time zones that plays recordings of my songs when you from them.

     

    By the way, without giving too much away, this is going to be a pure puzzle solving FM. No stealth or even AI. You have to move items around between time zones and work out what the effects of time between time zones will have on these items and how they can be used to your advantage.

    You shouldn't have too long to wait. This is going to be a the smallest FM I've done. It's just something for me to work on while Bikerdude does the finishing touches to the opera house we've been working on.

     

    That looks very HG Wells, I am curious.

    Where do you think I got the idea from? :smile:

    This is good music for my solo saturday evening with good 12-year-old whiskey. I dunno about the Hawking talking and the huge distortion that starts around the middle part, though.

    I can do an instrumental version with no Stephen Hawkings and no distortion. I wanted to do a stripped down instrumental version of this anyway just so I can show off my song writing skills. Soz if that sounds arrogant.
