  1. With the release of a 3.0 of NHAT it would seem that it's TDM Xmas!
  2. Well I couldn't see any indication via the in game downloader that it was V3.0 and I was hesitant about wasting 5 minutes downloading a campaign that I had already played. Just putting "3.0" in the title would suffice.
  3. Congrats on the release! I can only see the 2010 release in the in game downloader though.
  4. Simply a joy to play. Many thanks for all the time and effort that you put into this gentlemen.
  5. Just a suggestion but how about giving some of those wooden rectangles a wood panel carving texture?
  6. Some pics from my holiday in Bath in Somerset England.
  7. I never thought of that. The stage area would make a nice alternative to navigate the theater via rope arrows as opposed to staircases and connecting corridors populated with guards. I'll make sure the player has a few rope arrows and that some more can be found throughout the map.
  8. I only started work on this FM a week ago. So it won't be any time soon. There's some screenshots of the stage area in the What Are You Working On Now thread.
  9. Watching favourite movies from childhood past. The characters that used to be much older are now much younger. It's a strange experience. Apparently I will not stay young forever just like everyone else.

Such is melancholia. It's plainly human, to realize what we achieved and that time is limited - thus value every moment to get the most out of it.

Gene Simmons now qualifies for senior discounts and he probably would hang out in "Detroit Rock City" after sun down...

  10. The Lute of Oralaphalese Oralaphalese was said to play his lute so beautifully that the vibration of his lute's strings would resonate so magically that they could resonate to the point that they could distort the time and space between worlds. He would play music to his beloved Louralise and open up channels between this world and that of the Master Builder's so his lute melodies would play amongst the beautiful voices of the Master Builder's angels and the plucking of their harps. Louralise could not resist the beauty of his music and she fell in love with him. The Trixter saw this and sent a demon to take her soul away down into the depths of his kingdom. Oralaphalese was so devastated to loose his beloved that he used his lute to open a path to the land of the Trixter to bring Lourlise back to the land of the living. Creating a doorway between the land of the living and the land of the damned, Oralaphales saw Louralise and crippled with desire to rescue his beloved he laid down his lute and ran into the world of the damned to rescue Louralise. Without his lute to open doorways into other worlds he and his beloved were never able to return. His lute is all that remains. This remains on display in the foyer of the opera house on the land of Lytaglion. The Lute of Oralaphalese is going to fetch a nice price.
  11. Whatever. I don't have the time for TDM in my life anymore. I've got more important things to give a fuck about.
  12. So sorry to hear that the last four months of my own personal time that I did not get paid for but willingly invested into making a TDM FM cost you what? An hour at best of your own personal time? Was so "Disappointing". There is loot in every room. You have to search for it. That's the point of been a thief. If there's loot everywhere what's the point?
  13. @ Melan: Thanks for the detailed feedback. I have to give credit to Bikerdude for the elevator and lighting in The Angel's tear.
  14. I wouldn't worry about it. The only advantage I see to a campaign setup is loot and weopon carry over which is not applicable to this campaign. Many thanks for your time and help.
  15. For story line reasons each installment needed it's own timed briefing played at the beginning. Even with Nbohr's kind help we couldn't get it to work in the campaign format. So it was a choise between timed flow briefings or the campaign set up. I decided not to go for the campaign set up because due to objectives, time gaps between FMs and story, look and weopon carry over was N/A. Thanks for the kind words.
  16. What is The Complete Vengeance for a Thief Campaign? The Complete Vengeance for a Thief Campaign is a three part campaign with a brand new installment at the beginning called The Angel's Tear. The other two installments are the previously released A Pawn in the Game and The Art of revenge with new areas, additional story plus bug fixes and performance tweaks. What are the new areas in A Pawn in the Game and The Art of Revenge? Pics The Angel's Tear: New areas for A Pawn in the Game and The Art of Revenge: Download links: http://www.mediafire.com/download/c2p0myxp32hb8sb/The+Complete+Vengeance+for+a+Thief+Campaign.zip Installation instructions: Unzip the zip file and extract the three pk4s to The Dark Mod's FM folder. Load up TDM and play them in order. Thank you to the following: Bikerdude for help with visportals in the original A Pawn in the Game, visuals in The Angel's Tear plus all the mapping advice and tech support he has kindly provided me with over the years. The TDM team for providing me with countless hours of mapping and gameplay fun. Everyone who contributes anything to TDM to help make it the awesome mod that it is.
  17. I'm not too bothered about having buttons in the briefings. If memory serves me correctly then the NHAT briefings worked just fine.
  18. What is The Complete Vengeance for a Thief Campaign? The Complete Vengeance for a Thief Campaign is a three part campaign with a brand new installment at the start followed by the two previously released installments. Although the last two installments have been previously released, they contain brand new areas, additional story, performance tweaks and bug fixes so could probably do with been beta tested again. Please post or send me a PM if interested in helping out. Many thanks. Sir taff
  19. Don't worry. I'm fine with releasing the three maps as three individual PK4s in a ZIP file. Many thanks for taking the time to have a look at this for me nbohr.
  20. Many thanks for looking into that nbohr. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to work. When I get to the timed flow briefing there is just a blank page. I've created a test campaign for you to play with: http://www.mediafire.com/download/4csm5uyp2s5v0o6/vfat__test_.pk4 two important things to point out The briefings were in the wrong order. This was my fault. They are now in the correct order in the guis folder. Can you set up the briefing pictures to correspond with the briefings. There are 14 in total and can be found in the guis/assets folder. 1-4 are for the first briefing. 5-8 for the second and 9-14 for the third. Many thanks for your time nbohr
