well from what i saw this was definitly worth the trouble !! WOW Sad i snobbed this for so long because of DOOM ...

well finally !! i had to re install win xp to get it to work thank you for your help and patience !

yeah i tought about that too reinstalling XP but all the backup i would need to do , pictures, musics, emails adress books , favorites if the card change doesn't solve it i'll do that but i don't have the courage right now the guy advised me to re install winxp before anything else because there was no reason for my card not to work properly see you later !

Ok I updated the Motherboard BIOS sucessufully and install the original drivers for the graphic card but still no success A few months ago my Asus PCIE GF7 EN7600GT died and it was still on warranty so they gave me another one to make a long story short the idiot who owned the shop at the time (he went bankrupt a while after ) gave me a EVGA 9800GT saying it was a better one for my trouble and since then imy wolfenstein ,Call of duty and call of duty 2 stopped working those were working a similar way to doom 3 with a console at the start So my guess is that i should get a ASUS again to match my ASUS P5W DH motherboard ... will do this this afternoon ! I wanna thank you all for your advices and tricks i keep you posted when i change the card !

ok ! going for it ! i have a ASUS update utility to update the BIOS running on windows i did it once with floppies long ago and it worked so i'm confident I just hope it solves the problem ...

should I update the BIOS in safeboot mode ?

well i'm trying the inf thing in the device manager first but i may consider changing the card what would you suggest ?

i dont know much about Gl things i play call of duty modern warfare , rfactor, thief 2 earlier this year my NVidia 7600 broke and i had this 9800GT as i warranty replacement since then i couldn't play the call of duty, wolfenstein due to similar errors ... will try to install driver from inf file

well it has ATI cross fire multi gpu feature but i only have one card installed

when i run driver sweeper i noticed that i have ATI files even if my card isn't an ATi what is a ASUS enhanced display driver i have his too should i try the original drivers that came with the card ?

i uninstalled spybot it still doesn't work i really don't know what to try next ... i always get the same errors

yes there are process you can kill but not in safe mode , so i guess its not running in safe mode but i killed it in normal boot to re-install the driver or should i install the drivers in safe mode too ?
