Really? Didn't even notice that.
Sorry *blush*
It's ok mate. I did it but only one or 2 replies. Check page 2 on Gen Discussion and this thread:

Which is the best to use? Is Blender sufficient for Doom3/DarkMod etc?
-
This has already been posted a few weeks ago

Uhm...'testmaps'.
great !! I like the smooth transition from the rope arrow to using it. The arrows will all look different won't they? Water, rope etc.

Anyone played the Call of Cthulhu around here yet?
I know you were asking for folk here but try http://www.metacritic.com/search/process?s...p;x=15&y=10
metacritic is the best place to look for reviews from mags, websites etc. I prefer it to gamerankings.
Check also there Ishtvan.

For a stealth game the environments seem very bright. Will this be toned down slightly? Or will that be the job of the level designers?
-
I don't know whether it's available for the free video tutorials from: http://www.3dbuzz.com/vbforum/sv_dl_tr.php
Scroll down.
The forums may help there too.

Cool. I had to pay a credit card surcharge unfortunately, but atleast I have the back up of it. Total price was £1138.50. I'll get a 19" monitor in a while. I have a 27" Toshiba HDTV, so it should be fine for the time being.
-
So you guys reckon that £1100 was a good price? There's no monitor with it, but I can pick a decent 19" one ok.
-
It's easier to carry around my pics of various PlayBoy Playmates around

That's a marketing myth. Dual-core does not give you twice the performance of single core.
Can you extrapolate? You seem to know a lot about hardware and software. You in the business or is it a hobby?
-
I thought the dual core meant that both cores run at the same speed and is cumulative as in 8.4 GHZ effectively?
-
Hey sorry for bumping this.
Just ordered this computer for £1100, yeah I went over budget :
Black and Silver Jupiter case with front and back USB ports
530 Watt Hiper Power SLI PSU
Asus A8SX motherboard (Premium brand motherboard)
AMD Athlon 64 4200 x 2 Dual Core processor (2 cores each processing at 4.2Ghz in one processor)
2 GB Kingston PC3200 DDR RAM (Premium brand memory)
1GB PCI Express Asus NVIDIA 7950GX2 graphics card
Floppy Drive
250GB SATA hard drive
16 x Dual Layer DVD +/- Rewriter
Windows XP Home SP2 with free installation and original licence and CD supplied with the PC
1 Year Collect and Return Warranty
Should be ok for a few years you guys reckon?

They did a Thief multiplayer mod. BlackCat games, I think. Anyway the concept of guards vs thieves or thieves vs thieves etc is quite cool. I think that whole Splinter Cell multiplayer stuff is quite popular, with spies against mercs.
-
Blooming great stuff. I'm well jealous of you guys. I'm just getting started with all this stuff. Would some of that stuff in the pics be used in DarkMod?
-
I agree with Ombrenuit. make the game too realistic, regardless of complex programming etc, the game will not be enjoyable.
-
-
In any year that is?
-
Excellent work guys. Can't wait till this is out. Still on for 2007?
-
Happy B'day the other day Dramcula...
-
Any of you reckon it'll be any good? I'm hoping so, but it looks similar to the others save for the daylight play etc.
-
Good thing I have a 360 !!
-
I can't wait to animate it etc when the DarkMod is released.

Why not martial arts style: KI-AI !!!
