Biker gains a new skill. TDM gains a new asset. Players gain a new mission soon...
-
Now I just have to teach him scripting and he becomes our one and only Mapper God.
All Hail to thee, grand Lord Biker!!!
-
ROTFL, yeah scripting the bane of my mapping existence.
-
Just noticed your posting in other threads and its nice to you see you around, just dont forget what we spoke about.
-
Huh, I'm not sure what this entire "commenting" thing here is - how does it work? o-O
Anyway, "what we spoke about"? Could you please be more specific? Maybe sent it via email or via PM here again? *confused a bit*
As for "posting in other threads", I don't actually want to browse all "new content" - it took an hour yesterday to find 2 or 3 things I might possibe bring something useful, but in most cases somebody asked a question,...

Now if the govt could just catch those worthless pieces of sh** who call you and say that they're PC techs... I've gotten two of those calls just today!
-
get you number made ex-dir and sign up for the BT noosense list.
-
I'm on the "do not call" list here, but that only affects legit businesses. Scammers will ignore it. I saw a large increase in spam calls after the target hack, so I assume my information was sold by the hackers.

Watchdogs: Requries Uplay on PC in addition to Steam - WTF, so another game I wont be buying.

I have BF4 installed and play it about once a week. Origin is ballz compared to Steam. I could care less if the program occasionally sends system info pertinent to Origin's operation or a games operation. Most of those things you can turn off in the interface anyway which I do.
-
You can't be a gamer and not play half the stuff that comes out because it installs some middleware or interface. I want to sample everything. The most annoying IMO is Games for Windows but the Batman games are too much fun not to create a login. When you're done playing the game, just uninstall whatever and be on your way. Paranoia ruins quality of life. Get on with it.

Noo! I wanna see how it ends!
-
Nice find! Makes me want to replay the game again.

Damn I love the DX universe. Can't wait to see the new game they're making and this fan movie makes the wait even more unbearable!

The walking dead: season 2 is going cheap on steam atm.

I could never get past the cel shading. Imo anything that wants to evoke a response other than humor shouldn't use it.
-
Consider this a playable comic, and you will see why this was the only thing that made sense. Also, so far, the story was about the best one of any computer game I ever played.
-
I think it works for The Wolf Among Us because that literally is a playable comic (Fables). I don't know, there was just huge aesthetic dissonance in it for me. It wasn't so much the cel-shading as the goofy models and animations.

Bloody awesome game of PingPing -

Watched this episode the other night. They've done an incredible job. I always found the Star Trek Phase 2 episodes a bit painful to watch due to the bad acting, but these last two episodes were great.
-
yeah its all very impressive, the second episode (Lolani) I actually felt sad at the end.
-
\m/ YES \m/
real star-trek. thx 4 the clue.

It would be cool if we have someone or some presence there.
-
If I had the ability, I would. Besides TDM, it would be fun to play Quake 2 CTF or classic TF.
-
Classic TF? You mean QWTF? We put it up on a LAN party few years back. It was still a blast.

Lots of narration about how different each encounter will be...other than the specific bark (you burned me), how is it any different from a generic fight?
-
Interesting looking game.
-
Nice find. Wish it were first person :\
-
Just watching Sherlock homles with Law & Downy - the architexcture is spot on, I keep think "man that would look good in TDM"
-
Heh, I was watching a documentary the other day. They were having a discussion in a cool looking room, with curved Windows and stuff. I started thinking about building that room in Blender because it looked cool.
-
I watched the new Sherlock Holmes movies too and I kept thinking "Wow! That would look awesome in TDM."
-
thought you meant the Beeb series for a sec

Guess what I got as a new years present? yep you guessed it a dead hard drive! thankfully I backup daily and I have spare drives so no drama.

Good man, when one can buy a 1TB HHD for £44/$50 there is no reason not to backup.

Just bought Alan Wake on Steam with the few quid I got getting rid of a bunch if trading cards, cool!
-
AW is a fantastic game. The gameplay is mediocre and repetitive, but the atmosphere and the storyline is brilliant, and makes up for the gameplay limitations.
Great piece of art for a mapper to analyze to get inspiration how to conjure a gripping atmosphere and how to feed the plot in small spoonfuls, keeping the player hungry at all times.
Highly recommended, if you can get it for few euros!

Oh man this looks good and its MULTI platform! -

Looks cool! Considering how flooded the market is for zombie games this actually stands out as rather bad ass

Link no longer works, account associated with video closed. What was the game?
-
Whatever it is it will never be known in my country...

Steam Autum sale now on!, just picked up Skyrim LE for £10

It's a nice game. But IMHO Oblivion and Morrowind were far better. The washed out the rpg extremely. And after a while it gets extremely repetitve (like the predecessors).
-
I agree. I liked Morrowind and (heavily modded) Oblivion. But after playing a "real" RPG (like The Witcher or the Fallouts etc.) I can't go back to this kind of game. They're boring, bland and repetitive in comparison.
-
I pretty much liek Skyrim more than Oblivion and Morrowind :x

oh wow, so its kind of like the opposite or compliment to my name, and here I thought it meant "lover" in Klingon.
-
@Diego: I think that's "Mellon" or something like that. Not that I'm a nerd or anything.

It's melonamin in Dungeon Siege! Not that I'm a nerd or something
