Yeah, supposedly the guys who made Day One: Garry's Incident are doing a situation similar to the War Z guys by being huge cunts to people.
-
The dev has apologized and removed the notice on the video, it's back up.
-
But CB now has 3 strick's on his YT account, so I wonder if and when his account will get closed..?

@Pusianka the other climber was dying, they couldn't tell if the guy was breathing, so there was just nothing they could do.
-
They couldn't tell, doesn't mean he was dead. It means they were unsure. That's the part that bothers me. I tell you watch "Into the thick air" it was a disastrous climb in which almost whole group died but the guy who was left in snow a few times survived. I say it's not human to just leave sb when there is any chance of survival.

Agony, frustration and fear. What a nice basis for a computer game.. xD

well we only got locomotives because they changed the angles on the pistons, it is possible to miss that, or you could have religious rhetoric that bans horizontal pistons, or machines that run on tracks.

TDM 3.0, The Metal Age?

Yes jaxa, I guess you're right with that

This is scary, as we are going there again - http://pro.moneyweek.com/myk-eob-tpr123/PMYKP703/ - shame the message is ruined with the shambolic sales pitch.

Just read about the Co-Op and my own bank The Nationwide have both been given deadlines to shore up their capital shortfalls... (this mirrors the beginning of the slow painful death mentioned in the video)
-
Bunk from start to whenever it was I gave up. Start a thread perhaps..?

Yes of course, blame the "welfare state". Maybe the real problem is that corporations want to be able to pay their workers nothing, keep all of the profits to themselves, and expect taxpayers to make up the difference with social programs?

That looks amazing, can't wait to see that go to space and back

the sensor's are usually 3 spinning discs in x y z axis, they speed up and slow down when they go out of alignment. its just basically works like the inner ear and tells the rocket which way is up.
-
very, very cool.

So how many people have closed any online accounts who's servers are in the US..? Ive nuked all but one of mine and even then I only us that one for emails to send/receive from websites I use.

I guess to put it in a semi-selfish and callous but honest way, if I only dealt with people/goods/services that I trust that would be very restricting in a lot of ways. I don't like being spied on, but at the same time the services I use are beneficial to me in more than just social ways, so there is some unfortunate cost-benefit analysis that inevitably gets involved.
-
At the same time I understand why people would take action against something they disagree with and I want to encourage that, especially in this case since I agree with them. Unfortunately, also at the same time experience has taught me that a lot of well intentioned causes are about as competent at thinking strategically as monkeys banging on typewriters. Because of that, for better or worse, I'm inevitably going to be slower and more skeptical than my peers about adopting such changes.

If you're a law abiding citizen, what on this green earth do you have to worry about??? Of course if you're NOT a law abiding citizen... then I guess you should get in line... behind the rest of us.

How exactly do they get that information? Seems a little misleading to me.

Im guessing its all done mostly on stats..

But 90% of statistics are useless.

In the Orwellian future, surveillance agencies will gladly have these things very handy. Also your weirdo neighbour has entirely new technological means to stalk you!
-
I sound like a conspiracy nut here but this looks like CG. And the fact that not a single shot contains a person only supports the idea.
-
With the plinky music & slo-mo it looks rather beautiful, but if I saw one flying towards me I'd scream like a terrified two-year old and run for mummy

What do you guys think about landfires? Have you seen a landfire lately?
-
Is a landfire something other than a camp fire?
-
The word is "Lampfire" and its a nod to one of the very first T2 missions "Autumn in Lampfire Hills" -

Evening, I am on track to release my 1.08 updated version of Business as usual tomorrow. Just giving the final version a quick beta test, just in time for the first snows here in the UKe.

I cant see anything special about those textures
-
I'm not seeing anything TDM missions haven't done already. Except the blurry post-processing, which they can keep.
-
Thievious has Sikkmod graphics. The textures aren't so great and aren't even from Thievious... They're from the Gatehouse map by "evil artist".
