  1. I dunno about evryones oppinion here. I play with all oblviion settings on high and its pretty fun just to wander around and stare at in awe. But there are certainly lots of flaws in the actual gameplay...so I dunno. I just want a real imersive game already...bleh
  2. Yea thats fine, I know that things go swirley around here all the time, its cool, but that plan on how to proceeds been what Ive been waiting for for a month or 7 :-p
  3. Indeed. No hard feelings taking since I did dissapear from posting for quite a while waiting for what I needed, although I've been checking at least a couple times a week. Mostly I was waiting from any sort of actual confirmation of what needed done from the leadership, but apparently that wasn't the best idea. Anyways, whever he pops in if he needs any help I'll be glad to help out some, I don't know how far along he got on the actual menu but I have pretty far along main menus and some inteface stuff.
  4. *really long bump* WHat happened to main menuage....I had a pretty far along main menu when the whole new concepts appeared and havn't done anything in a long time waiting for something set in stone. Did ysomeone else do it. Can I just use the old one and finish? Are there sure new concepts that I can use?
  5. What ever happened to the base menuing?
  6. Does anyone know where in Imperial City I can buy (or acquire) lockipcks? Actually go outside elven district walk along wall, you'll find a shady figure who sells thieve items... or you can go on quest from shrine of nocturnal and get a skelaton key which gives +40 security and unlimted picks...in other words open anything
  7. My graphics look alot better then that...so the first thought, the reviewers comp sucks. On another note, whats ever going to be the point of exploring in a game except for the sake of it. There are good items out in the ruins and such if you explore, and if that doesn't matter...then why are you playing at all?
  8. Well yea butt hats the key, everyone always complains that they wouldn't want to live past 80-90 because they'de be gross and old, but the whole idea is to live to 100 and not feel past 50-60<-(a pretty good feet in the grand scheme)
  9. This topic needs to end now....We do not promote public wars in our forums, you want to do that go someplace else.
  10. I admit my knowledge is limited, but I've heard quite a bit of negative info about liberties in Australia? I realize that often world news is skewed (the reasoning behind your entire Anti-US sentiment which makes me sad) so is this completly false or are you saying that even with the compulsory vote AU is having problems? If that is the case then still fail to understand how the force-vote really makes things better, you say that not having allows only certain classes to vote largly, those of uppermiddle/upper class and those educated. I'm not going to completly deny that a larger percentage of people come from this group, although there is still others, it's not as completely a warped system as you've mentioned, but if this is the educated class who knows about the issues wouldn't it make more sense for them to be the ones voting?

    2. Re-assert their desire for all international trade to be made with the US dollar, not the Euro, as that is the only way they can keep from having to pay their massive debts, and make it look like other countries owe the US money. This point doesn't really make sense to me, I don't know if it's one of those key factors they wave about in Australia, but US of A currently has over a 3 TRILLION USD debt to other countries/peopels/ect......Previously we were in a surplus....so I don't get why they would use this as a reason to hide....since for one they don't...and two its made things go from good to bad. Would you care to clarify what you mean? You mentioned money going to rich beuruacrats ect., butt hat's not really what this comment was refering to (well, we are more civilised than the US at least, though our current government's efforts to emulate the US and constant US televison are causing a lot of cultural degeneration), ^Well thats not slightly bias Nationalism..... I know now I can trust you to be objective in your views
  12. @Napalm I am not pulling things out of any orifices, nor am I spreading 'propaganda'. It is very well known that only a small percentage of under 25 year olds vote - even in Australia, with compulsory voting, the vast majority of people fined for not voting are young people between 18 - 25 who don't realise the value in voting (aside from not being fined), and haven't learned to care yet. People in this age group generally take more risks (reckless driving etc) and have a very self-centred outlook on life, and it is not at all surprising that they don't vote, no matter how educated or informed they are, they often are just not interested. The demographics of who vote and who doesn't are very well understood, and very predictable, so predictable that the differences in politics in compulsory voting nations and voluntary voting nations are very obvious, and the policies formed by parties in voluntary voting states are quite clearly targeted towards those most likely to vote. Well if you conceed to this point...Then what do you propose? Also if compulsory voting doesn't stop crazed totalitarian goernments what positive difference does it have?
  13. IP masks are more trouble then their worth, most freelance ones just string you through servers slicing your speed, and the only time I've ever heard of really decent scramblers is whisperings of ones, most of which are banned and disliked by government agencies
  14. Analyses of elections in the US and GB for example show that large sections of the population don't vote because they don't have access to unbiased media, are ill-educated, or are pressured to not vote by various powerful interest groups, not because they didn't care or didn't think their vote mattered per se. If voting was compulsory, politicians would have to consider the interests of these groups, because failing to do so would introduce a wild card that no political party would want to deal with. Or they don't care. I'm sorry but you clearly have no clue what your talking about because the are I'mc lose to has the highest education in the nation, is in the wealthy class, have acess to continous media from all world areas, and there is still a very large percentage of the younger generation who choose not to vote, so it's cleary not just the reason thats you pulled out of your ass. I'm sorry but your whole argument is just as much false propoganda as the american system you continuously argue against gives out On a completly different note...If everyone seems to fislike the new Canadian government...who elected them? I'm just curious as to the other side, but everyone here seems to be against them. Is it the same sort of thing as the current American government?
  15. You also have the right NOT to vote." In some countries, but not all, and sensible countries who want the elected government to be as representitive as possible will make voting mandatory. I can see that the concept of democracy is simply beyond your comprehension - you only want to vote if you get your way. but since there are so many people who the concept of democracy is beyond them, then why should we try to force it on them? Let them be governed it's what they want, making them vote would just make it easier to manipulate since there would be even more people voting unitelligently/randomly
  16. The US is estimated to have been directly responsible for the deaths of over 70 million peaople since 1900 in various nations in which it has meddled or attacked, by causing dictators to rise I know this has been pointed out...butt his is an extreamely bias viewpoint... and its notreally true. On another note in the years of world war two Russian got about 30million, which is pretty high in the fact that it was less then a 10th of the time you marked the americans for being evil for..... Also, you say that they are evil because they could fix all the world hunger/problems...however this is coming from the same group of people that freaks out and calls america an imperialist nation any time they go in to another country for any reason...
  17. I was just about to comment on that macsen. And for an answer I'de say Negative By your standards all humans are corrupt and self-serving.....but you miss the point, which really comes down to..whats wrong with that?? I mean your whole argument is "Hey these people help themselves using there power there EVILLLLLLL.....",why wouldn't they, theres nothing wrong with trying to have power and sucess, it's generally the loser who complains about it as a flaw
  18. Truthfully, on the matter of realism, I think Spar just pointed out the key issue you keep missing. An arrow....with a sack of anything....on the tip....that would be large enough to put out a fire...no matter how small that may be...would be a retarded waste of time...as oppsed to just carrying...the sac....or a wet rag. Seriously, why would you just throw a sac at the flame, or just walk over. Why would you use an arrow...?? The whole point is it's just a gameplay thing, and since both a gel and water arrow have the same effect on the game, it doesn't really matter. Also the noise doesnt really matter, because chances are both are going to make the loud THUNK of the arrow hitting whatever is behind the torch. This is also ignoring the multiple chances of the arrow not hitting the flame of the torch, but another part of it, knocking it over, and burning the whole housedown There goes stealth . So let just not worry about the thing, and whichever particle effect is wanted.... it doesn't really matter.

". The poeple vote the goverment, and because of this they are responsible. If they don't go to the voting, then they are still responsible of not going there." but when 49% of the people vote against the government, then it's not really fair to judge based on the government, and say it's the peoples responsibility. This isn't even taking into account that one of the reasons for voting for the government is limited plausible choices. Don't hold everything against the people.
  20. more of a technicallity then disagreement, but the whole big flood thing actually come up in quite a few places around the same time in history (I forget where I read this, but if I remember I'll refind the source), so technically it's possibel it was true :-p. That having been said I doubt there was any getting 2 of each animals invloved but hey...I don't confirm or deny it.
