I was at the Mosel river in Cochem over the weekend. We visited the castle "Reichsburg Cochem" over there. It's an amazing place. Maybe I'll upload some picture of it in a few days. This all seems to be a lot more complicated in the US than here in Germany, when I look at that Barbie satire. We do our bachelors for free, we do our masters for free at the same university and if we want and someone is willing to take you under his wing, we do our Ph.D. at the same university and even get payed for it handsomely (at least more than those hilarious $40.000 :-P).

Just had my second session at the gym. Can't believe I left it until I was 31 to join one. This is so much fun! Just pump the MP3 player full of heavy metal and go for it! It feels great!

I presented my research project at a conference here in Dortmund the other day. It was very well received, which I am really happy about!

While I can think of application scenarious for my research project, its sole purpose is still to get a better understanding of the human factor in stereo 3d.

The paper title in english is "Gaze Adaptive Convergence in Stereo-3D Applications". International presentation will probably be at the ICCE. At least I hope so... =)@Sotha: Yeah, it's always good to have some applications at hand.
