Voice acting?

I dont think there is anything stopping someone from making Thief Gold remake on TDM for personal use, but to upload or share would be bad. While technically you shouldn't make it for personal use either, but similar to recording a phone call without letting the other party know, you cant be prosecuted if you dont tell anyone. If I were a Modder and I made Thief Gold/TMA using TDM the temptation to share it would be to great for me personally. It does puzzle me that they dont release the license to someone willing to make something better since Thief 2014 was crap in my opinion, at least when compared to the originals.

Thanks for the explanation. I noticed when I turned on EAX 4.0 it adds echo, even if my card doesnt support it. I didnt like the effect, so I turned it off.

I solved this by going to control panel, sound then right clicking your device (mine is soundblasterx g5) then configure i put it on 7.1, click next, then leave full range speakers unchecked (unless you have them of course), then finish, and when I started the game i was able to select 7.1 This game sounds great with an Audio Technica ADG1x plugged into the SBxG5, just using usb 2.0 for now. I can hear guards from all directions, its amazing. But what is EAX 4.0?

Thanks, it would look better if the surrounding area was actually murky and damp. If im going to learn how to remove stuff i might as well learn to be a mapper. Other than that i really enjoy this map, and look forward to many more.

I never noticed this before, but is there away to get rid of this? I turned bloom almost all the way down but it didnt affect it. Hope this isnt something added on purpose, its immersion breaking for me I saw it in Crucible of omens BCD I have Windows 10, 4790k I7, GTX 980, 16GB Ram latest drivers all

If I cant find an answer ill start a mission over from the beginning and notice things I didn't before.

where can I keep track of this contest? I wasn't completely disappointed with the new thief, the guards seem better at hunting you over longer distances, other than that it seems unfinished, I just finished chapter 5 and have only played a couple side missions and so far I don't see anything that attracts hardcore thief fans or any other type of fan.

Ability to scale certain environments (not just mantling) and climb trees , and of course a thief that doesn't sound like he's wearing clogs, even the guards sound like they have hooves for feet, I feel more like a master noise maker than master thief

Im sure this question has been asked before but, I don't see the harm in asking again... With the disappointing new thief game just released, im still wishing for remakes or even a sequel, prequel something on the dark mod. btw will the new thief game have an editor for fan missions

I've only played one mission (Requiem) so I don't know if this would happen with other missions. When I try to load a save game it crashes to the main menu with the Game error: "Couldn't load C:\Games\thedarkmod\maps\requiem.script" I checked thedarkmod folder and didn't find a maps folder, is there supposed to be one? How do I fix this? or is it a bug for this game or the mod? Any help would be appreciated, and thanks for all the hard work.

I agree, that we need a full upload of TDM, some people like my self, have to go to the library to access internet, or to a friends house, because we are poor folk lol, I do have an 8 GB flash drive that I use to dl thief fan missions and TDM missions, I am sure it can hold a full install of TDM 1.06, until I get my own internet, I can not play TDM at my house, or at least until the powers that be agree to make it available as a full install. I hope thief 4 is like TDM, FPS sneaker
