Maybe try to use it kvm and Ubuntu 10.4 or 90.10 or something?

Hi guys, since doom3 got open source is there a chance this game will get a stand alone game based on the (improved, but carmacks reverse lacking) version of doom3. Like Urban Terror changed to IOQuake3? Would be great to have the game completly open. Maybe the new Linux gaming devices likes the Openpandora (can play quake3) could handle it.
