So, what are you working on right now?

I will take a look at the options. As strange as it seems, I have never had water in my TDM maps before.

Come the time of peril, did the ground gape, and did the dead rest unquiet 'gainst us. Our bands of iron and hammers of stone prevailed not, and some did doubt the Builder's plan. But the seals held strong, and the few did triumph, and the doubters were lain into the foundations of the new sanctum. -- Collected letters of the Smith-in-Exile, Civitas Approved

And by popular demand...

It is actually quite freaky and disorienting with the reflections. Good.

haven't made skins for the steam whistle yet, but it uses gold and copper textures. So you can easily change at least one of those by adding almost any skin of a metal object like a gaslight or loot.

Or make skins with any metal you want :)

Just kidding, looks pretty good.

Very cool, I haven't seen this machine before. Does it look steampunkish enough?

Should be as its based on a Fairbanks-Morse 3 cyl 2-stroke oil powered engine, that was used in the 1890s to turn 110v DC Dynamo's. I think the first of its kind a single cylinder was used in New York.

Ive still got a build the dynamo to go with it.

That's some good machinery. I have said it before, but we need more machine types in TDM. Thief still comes out on top with the variety it offers.

I change the room a litle, i dont wanna mess with the top for now, just change the bottom for contrast, after all this will be a library. And we can go crazy with so many options. Theres a point we need to say thats it, and get the consequences for our choices.

Capela: looks excellent, and I like the contrasty tiles. The running rug in the middle would make more sense if you rotated the texture by 90°.

Bikerdude: superb! :)

Does anyone actually use the Normalise button in the Surface inspector? Even after looking at the code I'm not quite sure what it's for.

Turns out my 15th anniversary mission idea has already been done once or twice before! I've been beaten to the punch once again, but I suppose that's to be expected when there's over 170 FMs out there, eh? I'm not complaining though, I love learning new tricks and taking inspiration from past FMs. Best of luck on your own fan missions!

I wanna play Doom 3, but fhDoom has much better features than dhewm3, yet fhDoom is old, outdated and probably not supported. Damn!
Makes me think that TDM engine for Doom 3 itself would actually be perfect.

Maybe a bit of advice ? In the FM series I'm preparing, the two main characters have the given names Toby and Agnes (it's the protagonist and deuteragonist, respectively), I've been toying with the idea of giving them family names as well, since many of the FM series have named protagonists who have surnames. Toby's from a family who were usually farriers, though he eventually wound up working as a cobbler (this serves as a daylight "front" for his night time thieving). Would it make sense if the man's popularly accepted family name was Farrier ? It's an existing, though less common English surname, and it directly refers to the profession practiced by his relatives. Your suggestions ?

Looks like the "Reverse April Fools" releases were too well hidden. Darkfate still hasn't acknowledge all the new releases. Did you play any of the new April Fools missions?
