Bikerdude
Those fog shots look expansive and open, much larger than we have seen in TDM before @Erh, as before if you need a hand you know where I am etc.
ERH+
@Melan: Waterfall is a thin triangle (or diamond) of water volume, with tdm_waterfall_light.prt here and there, and tdm_waterfall_light_splashes.prt at bottom.@Biker: This foggy cliff is surprisingly light for engine, at my low end PC I get not less than 30fps at wide angle from far corner of this area. I guess lack of lights is really beneficent. Edited June 2, 2013 by ERH+

Springheel
Great stuff, although some of the brick use looked a bit off, like using bricks for stair railings. Moonbo
Argh...I really need everyone's help on this one. I'm trying to create an imposing entrance made up of a very large building cut into a cliff face. I've tried two different setups and both of them suck. Here's the one I think has the most promise: I know what the issues are but I can't think of any solutions. First off the whole thing looks short and squat, like a fat brick just sitting there, which makes it much less imposing than its size should. Second I'm worried that the individual pieces (especially the columns) are too big and plain which makes the scene lack in detail. The obvious solution is to vary the height of the building or the depth of the facade, but I can't think of a way to do that that looks good...any thoughts (or suggestions for an entirely new setup)? Sotha
Your scale is rather humble in order to make an imposing entrance. Try this:http://2.bp.blogspot...00/IMG_0879.jpg You could even have climbing gameplay on the facade: an entrance or two on the higher floors. 1 Quote Clipper-The mapper's best friend. They looks kinda fat. And that ringy thing at the bottom of columns will be better if sharp edged and smaller. And perhaps downscale textures. Otherwise looks worthy of an epic entrance! Moonbo
Thanks Sotha & Sometaff, I'll try doubling the overall size of the space I'm working with for a start, and fix the columns. Thanks also for the Petra reference shot. Quote But you should walk having internal dignity.
