Popular Post grayman
A snapshot from a non-WS WIP, "The Black Mage". Very early days. (3 wks, minus a few days finishing up the peek code.)

HMart
Aldo very nice work, just a suggestion on the second picture you can break those visual straight lines, for example in the right, where the wall meets the ground, with some rocks or some plants or even making the terrain more uneven (using patch's). Btw are those trees in the second image using the 2.07 shadow maps or you faked the shadow with texture projection?

Aosys
Crimson Peak inspiration? Good spot! The whole foyer is a homage to Crimson Peak (though the rest of the mansion is totally its own thing...).

Thanks, it is still a work in progress. I've put that wall in just recently because I'm thinking about visportals and caulk, it is sitting on a patch that I will make uneven eventually. Those are not shadows on the other side of the path they are rocks. Thanks everyone for the support, there is a lot of work still to do, but I am really enjoying dark radiant. Special thanks to bikerdude, springheel and sotha for the videos, they inspired me to do some mapping.
Popular Post Aldo
Excuse me, and a fern... There's so much I could show you, but I don't want to give too much away in case I actually finish this...
Popular Post ERH+
About one month ago I was thinking "lets make a small Halloween mission"... Was working hard to finish it on time but now I think I will not make it, so at least I can show few images. Unfortunately you suppose to wander around the dark house with a lamp in your hand, so things pop out as you move and screenshots are not so useful. (Outer areas have a bit low FPS because water surface is reflective). You really need a compass on these swamps. I've noticed image compression after upload looks really bad with fog gradation. Most distant objects shows only as frames. Edited October 27, 2018 by ERH+
Popular Post ERH+
Would be nice to hold this lamp off centre, in up-right corner of FOV, so the shadows would be more decieving - but don;t know yet how to do this. And yes, this is yet another forgotten keep in the middle of a marsh. I just love this theme. But this time it's family reunion. Melan
Wow! These are some mighty impressive shots! I really like the hall by Aosys. That's grand. 1 Quote Come the time of peril, did the ground gape, and did the dead rest unquiet 'gainst us. Our bands of iron and hammers of stone prevailed not, and some did doubt the Builder's plan. But the seals held strong, and the few did triumph, and the doubters were lain into the foundations of the new sanctum. -- Collected letters of the Smith-in-Exile, Civitas Approved

Popular Post JackFarmer
I have created for the very first time a pk4 of my WIP...and found out that the issue with my last objective ("Go to xxx when finished") simply does not pose a problem in the packaged version of the game and everything works as it should. Another problem solved and I can see the end of the tunnel now! Hidden Hands: The Joining Explore Blackstone Island and become a fully-fledged member of the "Hidden Hands" union! Mansion! Infiltrate the home of a late nobleman and steal one of his most appreciated values from the bedroom of his widow...very cold-hearted! Cemetry! Explore a lively graveyard and prepare to challenge an unutterable evil presence! Banks and robots! The local bank possesses the newest security technology and the bank's very own vault was considered burglarproof...till you came along! A custom script written by Destined enables spider bots to crawl through tunnels and small openings. No place to hide for anxious rookies anymore! Clerics! St. Adrian is one of the Builder`s most appreciated cruisaders. Befoul his reputation and pilfer his legendary "Axe of Anger"! Beware of the mad scientist! He oversteps the borders of morality and decency...but he does not mind, because he is a mad scientist engaged in an unholy alliance! ! In addition, the mission includes several custom ambient tracks and sound effects I wrote and performed by myself. Mission Status: A few more lights, four or five additional AIs and relevant paths, placing of three more special items and a ca. six readables are missing. Is here somebody who could help me creating two or three ingame maps? That would be much appreciated.

demagogue
For in-game maps, take a screenshot of the DR map, open it in Photoshop or whatever you use, overlay a blank parchment image as a new layer (take it straight from TDM's asset .pk4), put its opacity to 50% so the DR map shows underneath, then you draw the DR map lines directly on the parchment with a grainy paintbrush. When you're done you dump the DR layer and you're left with the parchment map. You're just following lines so it doesn't even really take artistic ability. 3 Quote What do you see when you turn out the light? I can't tell you but I know that it's mine. Popular Post Aldo
Am rebuilding my entire map from scratch, too much unsnapped stuff and messy building. Popular Post Goldwell
It's been about 5 months since I posted here last and while I haven't been active in the community much I wanted to pop in and let people know i'm still plugging away at my Shadows of Northdale campaign. There has been quite a lot of progress made on both Act 2 and Act 3, the final Act 4 still has a considerable amount of work left but i'm just focusing on one at a time for now. Back to the forge! 17 Quote Shadows of Northdale Campaign ACT I: A Curious Mind | ACT II: Down The Rabbit Hole Stand Alone Missions Accountant 1: Thieves and Heirs | Accountant 2: New In town | Spring Cleaning | Lord Edgar's Bathhouse | Snowed Inn | Noble Affairs
