Good suggestions SneaksieDave. I'm just glad it wasn't deleted right after I built it .

 

I really liked that BOD mission screen so it's on my radar big-time!

 

Please add your city mission if you feel inclined. (I was trying to keep it to missions with screen-shot or youtube proof but established mappers are credible enough to believe even with an offhand remark).

Now that I've been given a little more @home PC time, I have corrected some issues and added missing submissions.

 

1st (most glaring) is Arcturus's BEAUTIFUL mission (the custom normal map from his other thread was not even in place...)

 

2nd ungoliant's elegant manor

 

3rd Corrected AluminumHaste's entry and added Noble Cave and Cathedral labels

 

4th A mysterious old Siyahparsomen mission

 

5th Stardog's mission which resembles something I've seen in HappyCheeze's "Awaiting the Storm".

Actually it was a small part, not a mission. Moreover I won't use it for a long time, because dungeon theme is used many times up to now. It needs time for players to forget. I'll edit that entry on wiki.

This mission will be much better with the female AI's, so I'll be delaying it until the new version comes out..

I would suggest to add the FM-page and this Upcoming-FM-page into the navigation-bar on the left. For now the upcoming-list isn´t accessible at all if you don´t know it exists.

I have created a Fan Missions category and changed the Fan Missions redirect to point to it. I have added the "Fan Missions for the Dark Mod" "Installing and Running Fan Missions" and "Upcoming Fan Missions" to this category.

I guess since there's a link at the bottom of the "Fan Missions for The Dark Mod" wiki that there's no big urgency to sticky this thread but it still would be nice

I added killhour's "light house" mission. I believe it was supposed to be in the Vertical Contest. I presume he is still working on it based on his chandelier thread.

I'm not sure it will get stickied (or should be; there's only so much sticky real estate, but it's not up to me to say yea or nay), as it already has a link in the already stickied FM thread. Gets a bit redundant y'know?

 

Edit: Perhaps the subject of that thread could be changed to reflect that it contains info on both existing and upcoming, with links to both in first post.

Alright Sneaksie.

 

That thread rename actually makes sense as very little discussion about released missions occurs in the Stickied thread. So this is the redundant one. All we'd need to do is make sure the first post in the other thread also implores FM authors to share wiki updates.

 

Or this this could be added to the first post of the "So, what are you working on?" thread?

 

I will defer to the authorities on these matters

Would be good to have a column 'Date of last update', too.

Otherwise it is hard to guess which mission has seen an update since the last vist

or whether there is some activity on a particular mission at all.

Last Update column has been added. Dates are from memory. I will update with more accurate dates soon.
