Didn't work well for me, though.

Come the time of peril, did the ground gape, and did the dead rest unquiet 'gainst us. Our bands of iron and hammers of stone prevailed not, and some did doubt the Builder's plan. But the seals held strong, and the few did triumph, and the doubters were lain into the foundations of the new sanctum. -- Collected letters of the Smith-in-Exile, Civitas Approved

What kinds of vocals do you need? Stupid guard? Smart guard? General townsfolk?

All of the above, post a link with some samples young man.

Done and Done! That said Springheel is looking to get some more lines for the mod done, and your normal voice and your Benny voice are perfect.

Thank goodness. Having to run around the same sections of the city OVER AND OVER in Deadly Shadows grew extremely tiresome.

That's true but what i loved on the city hub was the independece. Just to be in a level WITHOUT objectives.

There were several things that have bothered me to the city hub. First, that the same items again and again came back, then you could not break into all the houses and at last people ever walked into their orbits, again and again and again, sometimes extremely small rounds. Nevertheless, I loved the city hub, the mini-quests, the atmosphere and the quarters of the pagans.

But the city-hub was not the best at thief3, the best was the Shalebridge Gale, so I think that the hub-city is not as important as long atmospheric level, whether zombie or hammers (builders) C;

In the end I would like to thank the makers of this ingenious game, I have not played much yet, but the level that I know were all brilliant. Thank you :D

The hub was interesting the first couple of times, gave you some extra stuff to steal, so more content in that way. But after that it's just a hunt to try to get as much regenerating loot and arrows as you can, not to mention infinite pickpocketable wealth. You get climbing gloves, now you can get a few more arrows a day. You perform the silly faction tasks. Tedium.

Hub structure is a good source for a taffing exploration activity :D.....if there aren't "loading" pauses.

Loading pauses simply KILL TDS City exploration.

Think to a not-so-arcade version of Isenstadt in Wolf 2009.....

Task is not so much to see what no one has yet seen but to think what nobody has yet thought about that which everybody see. - E.S.

This news are great :), I will wait to see more of this. Take your time. I also read you are in need of help. I don't know if this can be a help but I'm learning how to work 3D stuff (with Maya to be more especific), I could do some models if you wish.

Does anyone actually use the Normalise button in the Surface inspector? Even after looking at the code I'm not quite sure what it's for.

Turns out my 15th anniversary mission idea has already been done once or twice before! I've been beaten to the punch once again, but I suppose that's to be expected when there's over 170 FMs out there, eh? I'm not complaining though, I love learning new tricks and taking inspiration from past FMs. Best of luck on your own fan missions!

I wanna play Doom 3, but fhDoom has much better features than dhewm3, yet fhDoom is old, outdated and probably not supported. Damn!
Makes me think that TDM engine for Doom 3 itself would actually be perfect.

Maybe a bit of advice ? In the FM series I'm preparing, the two main characters have the given names Toby and Agnes (it's the protagonist and deuteragonist, respectively), I've been toying with the idea of giving them family names as well, since many of the FM series have named protagonists who have surnames. Toby's from a family who were usually farriers, though he eventually wound up working as a cobbler (this serves as a daylight "front" for his night time thieving). Would it make sense if the man's popularly accepted family name was Farrier ? It's an existing, though less common English surname, and it directly refers to the profession practiced by his relatives. Your suggestions ?

Looks like the "Reverse April Fools" releases were too well hidden. Darkfate still hasn't acknowledge all the new releases. Did you play any of the new April Fools missions?
