Aha! Probably was drunk, lol.

 

By the way how goes that Haunted City level you agreed to work on a couple of months ago? I believe that most of the people working on The Crucible campaign are near complition of their specific level and would like to hear about your progress on The Haunted City level.

Glad I'm not the only one who has a history of drunk-posting around here, heh heh. I wrote the most horrendously drunken PM to somebody that was like 2 pages long in a request to beta-test an FM like 2 years ago. Read it the next morning, most hilarious thing i've ever seen in my life.

LOL. The haunted city idea was another which never got started. I can't blame that on being drunk though. I only recently got DR working again and now there is the unusual gameplay contest started, so what I might have been working on before is now on hold.

 

 

But back on topic, C-of-O looks frakking fantastic and I am very much looking forward to this professional mission.

Hello I was wondering if you guys needed any help with voice actors at all? Maybe someone to narrate the opening pieces to the missions or just a couple of ingame voices here and there.

Thanks for your offer, Tyler! Your voice samples are very good, and it looks like you can do a range of different people (although now I wish we had a schemer character like King John's assassin! :D). We already have a voice actor for the protagonist (and he has already done a lot of work for us), but there are other roles, particularly if you feel up for voicing a lot of miscellaneous people from all walks of life.

I will be honest: the campaign has not been progressing much in the last few months. Our team is small, burned out and/or burdened with real life work. We are trying to bring you the campaign, but its first releases may have to happen on a mission-by-mission basis. We ask for all your understanding on this issue, but that is the reality we have to contend with for the time being.

I'd like you to ask two questions then. Could you give us a rough number of the amount of missions planned? And (controversial question) will any of Dram's famous unreleased maps be featured in the campaign?

I really appreciate everyone who's contributed to the Dark Mod in any capacity. There's obviously no rush, and thanks to the Thief announcement, it seems likely that Dark Mod will be featured and cited frequently throughout the year as a true Thief experience. I just completed FIdcal's excellent 'Teach yourself to mod in one day' guide and have started to plan out a very humble mission. I hope I won't bug folks with too many questions.

The campaign is about half the length of Thief Gold. All missions had been worked on previously, and were brought together in the campaign. They range from large to very-very large. I cannot be more precise than that.
