Not a clue- I just whacked it. It was still alive when it landed, but barely.

Has anybody seen a good mod yet? All I've seen so far were "graphical enhancements" which actually look worse than the originals or have so few changes that you woudln't notice them except in direct comparison <_<

The first time I tried to play Skyrim on my laptop, it was almost a slideshow on even the lowest setting, and I thought oh no it's going to be unplayable. Then I realized the graphics didn't switch between the Intel internal card to the dedicated ATI graphics card. So I switched it manually. Then when I reloaded it, it was fluid even on high setting. Let that be a lesson if you had any doubts.

This game is a constant source of cool mapping ideas. I like how it takes simple elements to make really cool scenes, like this simple table set up.

If there's one thing it could use (visually), it'd be megatextures. Too bad that tech was wasted on Rage, when this is the game where it would have really shined. Fortunately you don't notice the repeating textures much, to its credit.

would you believe me if I told you... that I still haven't played or touched the game?

 

Sure. Neither have I. Those sandbox RPGs are so time consuming I don't think I have ever time to play Skyrim. At least with current workload.

Would you believe me if I told you I'm pushing 1000 screenshots?

(I'd have more if I played it more regularly again.)

Then again, I have 1300 screenshots just for Dishonored.

 

Edit: You don't really have to play it full-on for the time-sink game. The way you can play it is just 15 or 20 minutes at a time to ride your horse around, take in the sights, and do a side quest or two. It's very playable like that.

Same here. I wish games like that were available when I felt no guilt at all about spending five hours a day playing games.

 

I do spend a lot of time looking at screenshots for modelling inspiration though.

      Things have been so bad these days for me...
      Just a year ago, I've been feeling dizzy, I thought it was nothing, today's stress, that type of thing, went to sleep...Still dizzy! 9 more days dizzy, went to doctor (I would have gone on the first day if NOT for the long appointment time)
      Said it may be Neck Dizziness...I did exercises for 6 months, no changes.
      Went to a Physical Therapist, went to another, no changes.
      I've asked my doctor for a full check this time.
      I hated yesteryear so much due to personal reasons, this year might be the same.
      To be brutally honest, I'd rather have cancer or/and chronic pain than suffer dizziness any second longer, especially when nothing helps.
      Hard to enjoy Thief when you're dizzy so I was hoping this year, Winter will be best for me.

      Is there a script command to make a screenshot?
      I just though it could be interesting to be able to create a screenshot at a certain point in time. Then use that screenshot possibly in a debrief.
      I guess the second question is: Can you use a (in-game made) screenshot in a (debrief) gui?
