Cannot open source file: '..\..\plugins\entity\speaker\Speaker.cpp': No such file or directory

Recommended Posts

Tried building DarkRadiant, but getting these two errors:

Error 1 error C1083: Cannot open source file: '..\..\plugins\entity\speaker\Speaker.cpp': No such file or directory C:\darkradiant\tools\msvc2010\c1xx

Error 2 error C1083: Cannot open include file: 'OriginKey.h': No such file or directory c:\darkradiant\plugins\entity\speaker\SpeakerNode.h 3

Now the file OriginKey.h does exist at "C:\darkradiant\plugins\entity".

I'm assuming this is some Windows only issue.

I always assumed I'd taste like boot leather.

Yes, Speaker.cpp has been removed and you will need to delete it out of the Visual Studio project file in order to compile.

No idea about the OriginKey.h error though, as you say that file is still there. Maybe it will go away when the Speaker.cpp problem is fixed.

EDIT: Actually I notice OriginKey.h is in the directory above SpeakerNode, perhaps you need to change the include line in SpeakerNode.h to

#include "../OriginKey.h"

      I've updated the articles for your FMs and your author category at the wiki. Your newer nickname (DeTeEff) now comes first, and the one in parentheses is your older nickname (Fieldmedic). Just to avoid confusing people who played your FMs years ago and remember your older nickname. I've added a wiki article for your latest FM, Who Watches the Watcher?, as part of my current updating efforts. Unless I overlooked something, you have five different FMs so far.

      I've finally managed to log in to The Dark Mod Wiki. I'm back in the saddle and before the holidays start in full, I'll be adding a few new FM articles and doing other updates. Written in Stone is already done.

      I like the new frob highlight but it would nice if it was less "flickery" while moving over objects (especially barred metal doors).
