Since this texture has a light band across the top, and doesn't look right when used in a cellar, I wanted to create a custom version for my WIP, darkening that band.

 

However, the Compressonator can't open the dds file for me to retrieve the original image.

 

Anyone know why?

 

The specific file is:

 

darkmod/dds/textures/darkmod/stone/brick/old_worn_semiplastered.dds

Had a quick pay in paint.net, I created an alpha layer(I think) from one of our decal .dds files and then overlayed that and changed the transparency just enough to darken the yellow light patches. When I saved the new version of "old_worn_semiplastered_2.dds" it saved it as a direct draw image so I think it should work..?!

I didnt really know what I was doing, and it shows as the texture dosent appear in-game.

Since my OP, I've abandoned any effort to darken the top of that image, and for the most part have replaced it in the mission w/another texture. In the few rooms where I'm still using it, I'm not showing the upper portion of the image.

      Is there a script command to make a screenshot?
      I just though it could be interesting to be able to create a screenshot at a certain point in time. Then use that screenshot possibly in a debrief.
      I guess the second question is: Can you use a (in-game made) screenshot in a (debrief) gui?
