Small dogs.

The slingshot channel is mainly for entertainment. This episode is not what he usually does. But I considered it quite interesting to see an ancient weapom im action instead of just someone talking about it. The guy above does a good either. :)

Is it really intented to be held like that? I think that's what makes it look ridiculous.

This is probably well known already, but there may be some of you who have not watched it.

It's damn good if you like this kind of adult cartoon.

Just found this (totally spoopy) video on lighting:

Admittedly the focus is on cinematography and not game design, but the stuff on contrast and silhouetting could be useful

"I really perceive that vanity about which most men merely prate — the vanity of the human or temporal life. I live continually in a reverie of the future. I have no faith in human perfectibility. I think that human exertion will have no appreciable effect upon humanity. Man is now only more active — not more happy — nor more wise, than he was 6000 years ago. The result will never vary — and to suppose that it will, is to suppose that the foregone man has lived in vain — that the foregone time is but the rudiment of the future — that the myriads who have perished have not been upon equal footing with ourselves — nor are we with our posterity. I cannot agree to lose sight of man the individual, in man the mass."...

- 2 July 1844 letter to James Russell Lowell from Edgar Allan Poe.

Maybe a repost, but I know you guys will enjoy this; a guy rigged his phone to find it's (inevitable) thief.

I like to record difficult stealth games, and right now you wonderful people are the only ones delivering on that front.

Click here for the crappy channel where that happens.

This game still looks excellent, 20 years later. I think a large reason why is that the water actually looks like water, and not animated mud or cement, which is how the water looked in many other games back then. Also, its not flat! (something that other games suffered from too)
