I would like to see improvements in this area in the future, as it seems to have the potential to become a c-uas system. There are still many limitations for this sort of system.

There are already systems such as Fortem DroneHunter NetGun, Anduril Roadrunner, IronBeam 450 by Rafael Defense Industry, RTX Coyote with KuRFS radar, l3harris VAMPIRE, SAAB Nimbrix, and IAI SkyCapture, and so on. And several high-power microwaves weapon

Open world shooter simulation games should come with c-uas squadron (you can hunt player using combat drone in ARMA reforger anyway)

Big moves are being made, and this is probably the tip of the iceberg.

I just played this and it's very good. It has the retro look of the original, but with real 3d enemies and objects and here and there some upgraded visuals. The original had Doom graphics with 2D sprites for enemies and objects. The dead animations here are very nice and original.

You have to own the original game, because it asks to import the original game files. The Enhanced edition works as well, but for it you first have to unzip the folder sshock.kpf (kix engine zip archive), then point to folder "/res/pc/cdrom/data/". I had to rename files citalog.res and citbark.res to all capital letters, but this might be a Linux issue.

that's super impressive result, Is it from the Leonidas drone defense system? (Because there was news about it recently)

I'm still curious why Electrolaser never made it to defense market and straight out abandoned(Even though this project may still be quietly ongoing, we will never know.) Electrolaser - Wikipedia 

Everything seems possible in the hands of the DoD 😅

 

There is new technology after the use of fiber optic cable to avoid jamming

New Alternatives to GPS could Be Jamming- and Spoof-Proof - IEEE Spectrum . The keywords are imu and gyroscope on chip components.

I'm wondering about how difficult it is to implement laser communication for small sized drone? (even though weather and alignment could be obstacles)

I can only hope that military simulation games such as Arma(ARMA 4 lmao), SQUAD, and Hell Let Loose (if there is a non-WWII version) will have devices like these:

- Backpack jammers (It looks cool to see your teammates wearing this.)

- RWS vehicles for counter-drones

- portable direction finding system (quite impossible because of ultra steep learning curve- need to join military first lol. I find this device cool anyway and i aint a trooper)

- mine laying drone and delivery drones 

- drone with SAR/GMTI (quite impossible, you need to have real life military experience or work in searc area rescue first)

- tank with proper APS dan drone net protection

-fighter jet that launches perdix swarms(It could be made similar to that system but with a different design and name, made to look like science fiction)

- infantry carrier with xm813 mounted on it

battlefield game doesnt fall into milsim category (but BF4 already has UCAV))

extremely demanding for gamedev (especially in creating effects and physics when the drone is jammed), never gonna happen but a man can dream

and I can't wait to hear players yapping “UAVs are too OP, please remove them from the game,” "we need IFF tech like this IFF System for Infantry - Cornell ECE 4760 because my team is so stupid and do friendly fire oftentimes, “come on, stop cowering in the bushes man up & face the drone” and so on.

      The best thing about not mapping more than like every other year is the awesome feeling to see how far TDM has gotten in all appartments. I can just create some parallaxing cobblestones and walk to and fro and just let the jaw drop

      Hey, was trying to use the TDM_Update.exe file, but when I do it doesn't do anything! It just goes back to 2.12. I'm trying to run Luitenant 4, but it won't update, so I can't play it. What am I doing wrong?

      Been away for quite a long time, didn't have much free time sadly, but the little that I had I was able to play a Romhack for Ocarina of Time called "Sands of Time".
      It's great, fun, rather hard but too but I like it (except when it's way too tedious, only some parts are, not all of them)
      Although the reason I'm sharing this is...Listen to the music, I've timestamped it to 27:56, it's titled "Memories Lost".
      Doesn't it sound so serene, so melodic...So Thief-like? It's fantastic, I love it, it reminded me of Thief and how much I want to get back to it, so hopefully this month or the next, I will have a lot of free time to play it.
      I can't wait to try that new big Thief campaign, The Black Parade, it seems to be promising.
      No spoilers please, but can someone tell me if it has horror elements? Or better yet, horror mission...Or even missionS?
