After looking at an old TTLG post and seeing a video of a map I never thought I'd see a video of I realized people will posy ANYTHING online.

So it got me curious to see if anyone had posted vids of my old Thief II maps. Which got me thinking, it would be cool to see videos of any work anyone here has done.

How would i know if you made a certain Quake map or whatnot... So post 'em here. If you can find any video of ANY game stuff you've done, here's the place.

Why not post your TDM work here too.

============

Crom's Blade : Thief II : Schwaa (aka me)

Cosas : Thief II : well, not MY map, but our friend FenPheonix does read my name in the credits right before Digi (eherm... Dishounoured fame :D ), around6:00 you may recognized a certain gold trophy ,model that made it's way into TDM. I did custom meshes for two of the main characters, the opening furniture and several other objects.

This is part 9, I can't bear to watch the series as I have yet (somewhat ashamed to admit, though technical problems are partly to blame, played it yet)

Koth_Sandvich : Team Fortress 2 : Me.

Lol, is definitely my most popular TF2 map. Which is a bit painful, it only took me 2 days and I spent months on other maps. This is one of several videos...

Sn_impressionist: Team Fortress 2

I had this idea that a sniper map (a sub category of maps in tf2 that is usually just a horrible spam fest of snipers) would actually be cool if it was well made and more like a real environment (as opposed to 2 balconies facing each other so whoever got out of spawn first was certain to win) would be a nice challenge.

Turned out most 'snipers' don't want a challenge, they want quick easy kills.

Unfortunately the one video I can find is from a server I played on a lot where one guy figured out an exploit.

ah.. that's all I can find or can remember.. where's yours?

Here's my own playthrough of my own TDM FM Patently Dangerous.

Here's a playthrough I did for Timon's T2 FM Unfortunate Formulae:

I also did 3 videos featuring TDM swordfighting. Here's one of them:

I did one for Melan's T2 FM Disorientation, but it came out way too dark & my commentary wasn't really great.

Edit: Not sure why the embedding didn't automatically happen. Maybe it can only do 2 per post.

What do you see when you turn out the light? I can't tell you but I know that it's mine.

T2 & TDM are both drop-in-and-play games (well T2 might need the little fix), so any time I get a new machine, I just drag a whole slew of folders over so they're always there.

Well, since I'm new to mapping, don't have any youtube vids of my work, but at the end of this vid is a decent chunk of dialogue that I had a lot of fun writing for a previous modding project.

Say, I know it's been a while since the site got overhauled from the crash. But did we ever figure out if/how to get the recent topics & replies list back? It's not a total deal breaker but it was nice for becoming a thread creeper again...

Some of you who've been on the TDM discord know I was out of work last Winter, just putting in hrs for the developer portfolio. Currently I've been working a seasonal job to pay the bills and now I'm finally in my last week before I get bumped off. Things will be tight but I'm planning a long off period to make as much content as I can. Big plans in Unreal Engine as well as my most ambitious TDM collab yet! Never been so excited to be a stuck at home to pursue my life's work. With a lotta time and maybe some luck, I'm hoping to get enough art work done that I may start applying around to studios.

I finally got around to play Prey and I truly loved it. It is an incredible homage to System Shock and Deus Ex. While the gameplay is not en par with those two titles, the game makes up for that with its well written lore and story. The whole "world" just feells so authentic and it features a ton of really god environmental story-telling. Recommended for every immersive sim fan, i.e., everyone on this forum.
