Really, March? Really? Is this the best you can do?

 

This place was featured in a famous Thief fan mission. It is covered by snow now.

A trellis. Snow has buried it. The pine tree doesn't seem to like the snow either.

"The City of Mediterranean Impressions" (no kidding, that's our marketing slogan), main street. If the picture appears blurry, it is because there is a snowstorm going on. Snow is sometimes falling upwards due to the wind tunnel effect.

By my country's standards that isn't very much of snow. At present there is easily knee deep snow layer in areas that have not been cleared. And the snow has been melting and compacting a bit during the last weeks.

Okay, it's hard to compete with SeriousToni's picture (and anyone from Finland would probably win over that). Actually, it's not the amount of snow that surprised me (it happens, although it's not common), but the storm itself. I took the pictures in a relatively calm period; when I was going home from work, visibility was way lower.

 

Also, I am now starting to wonder how people pictured me. Probably nothing like my old avatar (which is a Hammerite icon).

Hah! I instantly recognized that first picture! :D

Well, we have the same stuff here in France, but since I live 2 kilometers from the Mediterranean we still have the sun, but lots of wind lately. However some of my friends living further north don't even have power in their homes and the snow has been a pain in the ass for a lot of people.

Here in the middle of Canada we've already had our average (110 cm) and we still have another month or so to go :( . Were suppose to get more again this weekend. So tired of it. Oh well, we at least know that someday it will melt and sweet glorious summer will put in an all to brief appearance but long enough to get us through the next winter. (One can hope :smile: ). Having some trouble posting and wanted to add that my avatar does look like me in fact when I see myself in a mirror during a mission I have to stop and wonder who that is. :laugh:
