I see one problem coming up, and it's a problem that all the modellers will have to face eventually...stylistic differences.

How are we gonna keep all the models from looking totally different from each other?

We want all the models looking different from each other.

Of course, all the Builder class of models shoud look connected and coherent in some way, as should all the members of the other classes, but for general townsfolk and nobles it doesn't realy matter how different they look, the more the merrier.

Civillisation will not attain perfection until the last stone, from the last church, falls on the last priest.

Why do they need to look like having been done by one single person? Artistic direction is one thing, but humans don't look all as if modeled from the same clay either. As long as the artistic style is met, there is no problem with it.

I've been keeping that in mind as I assign things to our secondary AI modelers. Alan, Corth and Diego are all working on townsfolk (peasants, thugs, nobles, etc). Having different styles is not as bad there.

Having said that, Ren has a point. We wouldn't want to see one of oDDity's models next to a T3-style caricature, for example.

Hey Diego, been a while since I've been around, but here's my crits :)

the ear is good except for the one part marked with red, no ear does that unless it was in some sort of accident ;)

I think the bridge of the nose needs a little less definition, it could help with the 'looking older' issue. I'm not saying this one is a neccessary fix, possibly just something to try.

The nose I think is the big one. the outer edges of the nostrils need to be brought back a bit, and the nose itself should be scaled so it isn't so wide.

I hope the pic helps

I'm going to live forever, or die trying.

Does anyone actually use the Normalise button in the Surface inspector? Even after looking at the code I'm not quite sure what it's for.

Turns out my 15th anniversary mission idea has already been done once or twice before! I've been beaten to the punch once again, but I suppose that's to be expected when there's over 170 FMs out there, eh? I'm not complaining though, I love learning new tricks and taking inspiration from past FMs. Best of luck on your own fan missions!

I wanna play Doom 3, but fhDoom has much better features than dhewm3, yet fhDoom is old, outdated and probably not supported. Damn!
Makes me think that TDM engine for Doom 3 itself would actually be perfect.

Maybe a bit of advice ? In the FM series I'm preparing, the two main characters have the given names Toby and Agnes (it's the protagonist and deuteragonist, respectively), I've been toying with the idea of giving them family names as well, since many of the FM series have named protagonists who have surnames. Toby's from a family who were usually farriers, though he eventually wound up working as a cobbler (this serves as a daylight "front" for his night time thieving). Would it make sense if the man's popularly accepted family name was Farrier ? It's an existing, though less common English surname, and it directly refers to the profession practiced by his relatives. Your suggestions ?

Looks like the "Reverse April Fools" releases were too well hidden. Darkfate still hasn't acknowledge all the new releases. Did you play any of the new April Fools missions?
