It has stealth too! Instead of gushing torches player put oil lanterns out and unsrews light bulbs. And stunning visuals! Too bad its short and the story is not my flavor, and its not rpg like fallout 3.

What excuse do we have not to sculpt, and sculpt, and sculpt, until the job is done?

Steam. Summer sales start prolly soon. Last autumn AAA-titles could be 5e. Sure, it is steam and you can't resell the games, but who cares if you pay so little for them?

They have weekend discount on some random old or indie title (50-75% off) and week sale (25%). Some games came with preorder of other. There is great chance that game-series will go for 75% off or older games came with preorder or sale of new one (like they did with bioshock Infinite - got b1 and b2 free)

Yeah most games are on steam, but buying them directly on there isnt the way to go. I have frequently found any game they have cheaper online. For example they want £15 for the basic version of skyrim, plus another £14 for the dragonborn dlc, £14 for the dawnguard dlc and then another £2.5 for the hearthfire and yet online I have found the Skyrim: Legendary ed for £20 which includes all the aformentioned dlc packs.

I've seen this game advertised on steam but never really cared to see what was it. I mean, there are two trailers there, both show the setting and nothing more, all I know is that it's in some kind of metro line and/or sewers. No gameplay, no story, I just assumed it was a cover based 3rd person shooter. Maybe they didn't think it was necessary, considering it's a sequel.

Could try Green Man Gaming, IIRC most of what they sell is Steam activation codes but often cheaper than Steam is, GOG is another good one though I don't know how up to date their library is. Gamer's Gate?

I want the flashlight mechanics for TDM. AI can see the light without seeing the player, and go on alert, and investigate the area. It's buggy as hell though, seeing the light through walls and crap. safer to use nightvision when AI are around.

Probably wishful thinking. TDM would suffer the same buggy fate unless authors stopped using noshadows on stuff.

Does anyone actually use the Normalise button in the Surface inspector? Even after looking at the code I'm not quite sure what it's for.

Turns out my 15th anniversary mission idea has already been done once or twice before! I've been beaten to the punch once again, but I suppose that's to be expected when there's over 170 FMs out there, eh? I'm not complaining though, I love learning new tricks and taking inspiration from past FMs. Best of luck on your own fan missions!

I wanna play Doom 3, but fhDoom has much better features than dhewm3, yet fhDoom is old, outdated and probably not supported. Damn!
Makes me think that TDM engine for Doom 3 itself would actually be perfect.

Maybe a bit of advice ? In the FM series I'm preparing, the two main characters have the given names Toby and Agnes (it's the protagonist and deuteragonist, respectively), I've been toying with the idea of giving them family names as well, since many of the FM series have named protagonists who have surnames. Toby's from a family who were usually farriers, though he eventually wound up working as a cobbler (this serves as a daylight "front" for his night time thieving). Would it make sense if the man's popularly accepted family name was Farrier ? It's an existing, though less common English surname, and it directly refers to the profession practiced by his relatives. Your suggestions ?

Looks like the "Reverse April Fools" releases were too well hidden. Darkfate still hasn't acknowledge all the new releases. Did you play any of the new April Fools missions?
