Optional sound package wanted?

As I'm still sitting on the new footstep sounds I would love to know which materials make the most noticable sound for ai and which the least. Is there a ranking list or something? Because for some things like stone and foliage I'm quiet unsure where they should stand.. :wacko:

Well, the volume of propogated sounds to the AI underwent a complete overhaul, and there were some small adjustments to the player-heard volume as well. This is going back half a year, and I don't have the changes memorized. Best I could do is post the relevant def files.

 

Are you planning on releasing this before 2.0?

Not necessarily, but I just wanted to make sure that all the sounds don't have to be revisited and modified after 2.0 :unsure:

Making progress ... Do you guys want a new teaser??

 

EDIT: The new package will come firstly without the reverb. I think it is better to have them without, as soon as EAX or OpenAL will (maybe) work in TDM 2.0. Still, there is the possibility to add reverb to the sounds and make a optional reverb sound package later on...

      I like the new frob highlight but it would nice if it was less "flickery" while moving over objects (especially barred metal doors).
