Ah that, yeah I had some things to say about his review of Thief, but don't forget, he's not a hardcore Thief veteran, he hasn't played them until recently. So he's not so well versed in Thief lore and mechanics as say someone who has played it 15 billion times.

Hopefully he'll revisit soon, but he stated he's not very good at stealth games, which he definitely showed in minutes of playing Thief

 

I'm sure he did better when playing Amnesia, as players like him usually benefit from not having the choice of combat. Take his sword away, and he has to try

TotalBuscuit has had issues with commenters for ages. It's gotten pretty bad in recent times. It's one thing to disagree with an opinion (and in the end it is just his opinion), but the way in which people express their own opinions is really hostile and hateful sometimes. That and some people really don't want this new Thief game to be successful, and will bring down anyone who likes it.

I like it. I don't like it as a Thief franchise game because it just isn't. I like it for what it offers. I've played far worse games that didn't get this amount of bashing.

Do I think that this was wasted potential? Oh hell yes, this could have been a phenomenal Thief game, but they failed.

The technology, at least on my computer, is excellent. The game looks phenomenal, is organic and alive for the most part. I'm having fun with it.

 

Is it worth 60$? No. 30$? maybe. 20$? Definitely.

They could easily put 60 price tag, its worth it. Would one buy it for 60 is another question. With all theese torrents probably not. And it lacks online features so official and torrented versions do offer same expirience. Wich would explain 25 tag. Stick of truth is coming for 60,ill pass it
