Instability in Objectives in 2.02

If I create an objective for exiting a map via an info_tdm_objective_location, and I come back into the Objectives and do this:

 

- select the Objectives entity in the top panel

 

- select the exit Objective in the lower panel

 

- click on 'Edit'

 

I can see my previously-created exit objective in the Components panel:

 

"Let the target 1 entity of spawnclass idPlayer be at location entity Exit1"

 

If I click on that line, I expect the fields below to be filled out with this information.

 

What happens, however, is that the "Exit1" entity is discarded and my objective component is changed to:

 

"Let the target 1 entity of spawnclass idPlayer be at location entity <not specified>"

 

The Location: field below is set to "No specifier".

 

Buggity-bug-bug, right?

Yes, I've noticed it, too.

 

Open objective editor and make an objective.

Open objectives editor again and edit objective. Data gets cleared.

 

In this version of DR, be sure to never edit the objectives you have previously made or they will get messed up.

      Finally got my PC back from the shop after my SSD got corrupted a week ago and damaged my motherboard. Scary stuff, but thank goodness it happened right after two months of FM development instead of wiping all my work before I could release it. New SSD, repaired Motherboard and BIOS, and we're ready to start working on my second FM with some added version control in the cloud just to be safe!

      I've updated the articles for your FMs and your author category at the wiki. Your newer nickname (DeTeEff) now comes first, and the one in parentheses is your older nickname (Fieldmedic). Just to avoid confusing people who played your FMs years ago and remember your older nickname. I've added a wiki article for your latest FM, Who Watches the Watcher?, as part of my current updating efforts. Unless I overlooked something, you have five different FMs so far.
