Just found a nice tool on the internet for automatic rigging and animating models with a relatively cheap price.

 

So the people with less time and (a bit) more money might want to try this out. You can test it all freely, but if you want to use it fully, you have to spend some bucks (per use or monthly if you like). This could be an easy solution for the animated werebeat ;)

Regarding the werebeast: It is already rigged and animated. The only thing left to do is specifying the body constraints for the ragdoll. That's just a bit complicated as many preview options from Doom 3 don't work in TDM anymore.
