That's looking good!

Come the time of peril, did the ground gape, and did the dead rest unquiet 'gainst us. Our bands of iron and hammers of stone prevailed not, and some did doubt the Builder's plan. But the seals held strong, and the few did triumph, and the doubters were lain into the foundations of the new sanctum. -- Collected letters of the Smith-in-Exile, Civitas Approved

@Springs, how that we have an older femal face it strikes me we could have an older plumper cook/maid body to go with that...

I wonder if the builder forger body could be retextured... But those metal neck pieces should be removed...

I'd love a thin, decrepit old man body that's hunched over and walks with a cane.

Whe is also drunk, as he makes his way home from the pub.

Can we have plump old lady & thin frail old lady with both having same face?

Yes, now into the old male chaps!

I'm happy I made this thread. :-)

That's amazing for a stern, haughty matron.

Not too shabby, considering the lack of actual polygon deformations, if I do say so myself.

Looks excellent!

Also, while working on the hands I noticed that both the noblewoman and maid models don't have normal maps applied to their hands.

Hmm, I'll take a look, though I have a hard time believing that would go unnoticed.

Re the latest from Bob - really nice but why do I get the impression that she has either Spock's ears or more likely an elf from Lord of the Rings

Could it be the angle of the ears sloping away from the head and the lack of lobes

Old ladies never looked so good! ;)

Must... resist... making a gerontophilia joke.

It's the angle. Certainly nothing that could be caused by the textures.

Weird, somewhere along the line the normalmap for the female hand was commented out:

//bumpmap models/md5/chars/npchand_female_local // why commented out?

Looks like when I was redesigning the AI last year, I somehow never finished adjusting the female normalmap to match. Don't know how it went unnoticed for this long. Good catch!

I've updated the articles for your FMs and your author category at the wiki. Your newer nickname (DeTeEff) now comes first, and the one in parentheses is your older nickname (Fieldmedic). Just to avoid confusing people who played your FMs years ago and remember your older nickname. I've added a wiki article for your latest FM, Who Watches the Watcher?, as part of my current updating efforts. Unless I overlooked something, you have five different FMs so far.

I've finally managed to log in to The Dark Mod Wiki. I'm back in the saddle and before the holidays start in full, I'll be adding a few new FM articles and doing other updates. Written in Stone is already done.

I like the new frob highlight but it would nice if it was less "flickery" while moving over objects (especially barred metal doors).
