Where's the next William Steele mission?

Good luck!

The quality of the missions thus far has been worth the wait.

I suppose if you end-up unsatisfied with the latter missions (due to scaling back) you can always incrementally update them

with additional content.

Thanks for all your hard work Grayman. I don't blame you for scaling back your missions. There is no way I could make eight TDM missions the size of your first 3 for WS. It doesn't mean that the quality needs to be scaled back either.

The William Steele missions are great, grayman! Thanks for making them :) And I'm looking forward to more.

Question: Once all the missions are done (knocking on wood!) will they be released as a campaign so that the loot from a previous mission carries on to the next?

Agreed. Release as campaign asap. Even now. Same to TP, TD, etc.

That's just how I thnink. I don't know the amount of work so take it with grain of salt

I loved the WS maps so far and I'm really curious of the next episode of this entertaining story :)

But what also made my eyes shine, was reading this: ;)

It will require 2.04, so I'm looking at a release sometime in Q1 2016.

Thank you for the update, grayman! :)

Come the time of peril, did the ground gape, and did the dead rest unquiet 'gainst us. Our bands of iron and hammers of stone prevailed not, and some did doubt the Builder's plan. But the seals held strong, and the few did triumph, and the doubters were lain into the foundations of the new sanctum. -- Collected letters of the Smith-in-Exile, Civitas Approved

Thank you for the information. Your labour is invaluable. You are an example to me.

"I really perceive that vanity about which most men merely prate — the vanity of the human or temporal life. I live continually in a reverie of the future. I have no faith in human perfectibility. I think that human exertion will have no appreciable effect upon humanity. Man is now only more active — not more happy — nor more wise, than he was 6000 years ago. The result will never vary — and to suppose that it will, is to suppose that the foregone man has lived in vain — that the foregone time is but the rudiment of the future — that the myriads who have perished have not been upon equal footing with ourselves — nor are we with our posterity. I cannot agree to lose sight of man the individual, in man the mass."...

Q1 might be optimistic for 2.04.

The things that I like the most about this series is that all the maps happenin entirely different places and they all have their own unique characteristics and they all have their individual type of environment to explore. I'm excited to see where Grayman takes us in the forth installation of the series.

Does anyone actually use the Normalise button in the Surface inspector? Even after looking at the code I'm not quite sure what it's for.

Turns out my 15th anniversary mission idea has already been done once or twice before! I've been beaten to the punch once again, but I suppose that's to be expected when there's over 170 FMs out there, eh? I'm not complaining though, I love learning new tricks and taking inspiration from past FMs. Best of luck on your own fan missions!

I wanna play Doom 3, but fhDoom has much better features than dhewm3, yet fhDoom is old, outdated and probably not supported. Damn!
Makes me think that TDM engine for Doom 3 itself would actually be perfect.

Maybe a bit of advice ? In the FM series I'm preparing, the two main characters have the given names Toby and Agnes (it's the protagonist and deuteragonist, respectively), I've been toying with the idea of giving them family names as well, since many of the FM series have named protagonists who have surnames. Toby's from a family who were usually farriers, though he eventually wound up working as a cobbler (this serves as a daylight "front" for his night time thieving). Would it make sense if the man's popularly accepted family name was Farrier ? It's an existing, though less common English surname, and it directly refers to the profession practiced by his relatives. Your suggestions ?

Looks like the "Reverse April Fools" releases were too well hidden. Darkfate still hasn't acknowledge all the new releases. Did you play any of the new April Fools missions?
