Pragmata

"Wherever you go, I'll be there."

Pragmata is a unique, sci-fi action-adventure game from Capcom.

Follow Hugh, a member of an ill-fated investigation team, and Diana, a young android, as they navigate a lunar facility taken over by rogue AI in search of a way to Earth.
ONE TRAGIC ACCIDENT. AN UNLIKELY DUO.

At a remote lunar research facility, humanity discovers a new ore—one that, when properly refined, can be used to create almost anything using 3D printers.

When the facility suddenly falls silent, Hugh and his team are dispatched to investigate...but then disaster strikes.

Hugh is saved by Diana, a lone android wandering the complex. The two of them must join forces to find a way off the moon while working their way through an AI-controlled facility bent on stopping them.

I tried the demo, I could not get on with the controls.

I can't say anything about this, the game with its minimum requirements is wish thinking for my poor Laptop. It only caught my attention when I saw a complete gamemovie in YT (in Spanish), appreciating it as a highly original and beautiful game with a good plot. Apart of enthusiastic user comments in Steam.

exodus an upcomming sci-fi game.

drew karpshym from mass effect is working with them woot!.

Book by Peter F Hamilton https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Exodus:_The_Archimedes_Engine is a prequel to the game :)

many more trailers on the main site but the octopus sniper i kinda like 😂.

game is produced by archetype a division of wizards of the coast (baldurs gate) which is kinda surprising since they usually are more into D&D style games.

looks amazing too so im kinda interrested in how it plays.

It does look very similar to Mass effect. Not a bad thing. I loved the first 2.

it does look very similar gameplay wise. different as far as aliens go as there are none... well silicates may potentially turn out to actually be alien but are symbiotic and need an organism like a human to latch onto, but so far there is a bit of a lack of where they originated from. the "aliens" in exodus are hyper advanced humans (40000 years ahead of the normal ones due to time dillation from the way they had to travel).

also awakened animals who think and speak like salt were created with advanced gene tech.

huge fan of the mass effect series myself 😄 so im looking forward to this one.

the blood of dawnwalker is out now.

been playing it for a few days and it is quite fun though the control scheme takes some getting used to.

block enemy attacks with wasd plus right mouse button... ? same with attacks but with the left mouse button. they do point out that it plays better with a controller but damn 😂.

story so far is pretty good and it does give witcher wibes with its setting, which might not be so odd when you realize it was created by people who worked on the series.

cant believe it's actually playable @ 480p

It usually runs more smoothly when you look up at the sky in the game; I recommend looking up at the skybox throughout the game until you finish it. At 480p, it’s trying to rival Project Shadowglass

so the key to beat ue5 game on older gpu is looking at the skybox

I played Stirring Abyss demo recently and after that bought the game. It's kind of a Lovecraftian style xcom game with detailed text story boxes. The visual style is very interesting. Mostly a drawn perspective view, but the fishes seem in 3D, which looks weird, but also kind of interesting.

Oh and (already mentioned) the soundtrack is free to download.

Here it is also on youtube:

It would be nice to have a link to the forum thread of a mission in download section, rather than having to search for it manually, like on Thief Guild.

Anaglypta , floral and damask wallpaper look great in older homes
It’s rare to see anyone using “shader not found” wallpaper in their house

Terribly difficult juggling map designing with work, but I'm still alive and chipping away at something very special. I'm actually making a collaboration of sorts with a friend, I make the map itself and he acts as my "Chief Scope Creep Consultant" that checks in every so often to make sure this project isn't getting out of hand. It's a good system!

The post editor for the dark themes should be working again. Apologies for the inconvenience.
