Can't post images on the forum

Heyo,

 

It won't let me do this, every time I try it pops up and says I'm not allowed to post images of that type (jpg). Could

someone please up my security level so I can do this please. I want to post some WIP of my level. These

are the images it won't let me post. If I use the pic icon above, it does nothing, if I use the [i/img]

I get the error I'm not allowed to use it. Please help with this.

I know, I used to be able to, but a few months ago, it started doing this to me, and not letting me post any images anywhere on tdm forims. I need this fixed

It seems like it's not forums fault. It's google drive format that prevents from copying proper image url (I guess to prevent hot linking?). You can either stick to posting just links or switch to something like postimage.org for direct image links.

 

Edit: just tried linking some images from Dropbox, you can't do that either.

Have you reached your attachment limit?

Check your profile page (or my media) and delete a few old images and see if it allows you to upload again.

Or, do it by embedding the image - like what stumpy gone done (you can even use imgur, so long as it's the .jpg extension share).

its a feature of google drive, it doesn't allow image hot linking.

No, it's not google drive. I just tried to do it with mediafire and Imgur, and again he forum said I am not allowed to use that file format. If I use

the pic icon on the menu, nothing happens, if I use [/img] I get the error. I think it's a forum problem. I cannot post any images

to the forum from either Google Drive, Mediafire or Imgur. I've done it from all of them before many times, but for the last few months I've not

been able to. It's not been a big deal till now, where I'm back working on my next map, I need to be able to post images.

 

I hope someone can fix this.

Imgur should work, at least if you use a link with image extension. I just tried this one https://i.imgur.com/Yh3VBI1.jpg and it worked.

Do you mean the "Image" button? What do you mean by "nothing happens"? You click the button and there is literally no response?

Yes the image button. When I click the button, I get the pop up for the url, put in the image url, click ok and nothing happens. A bit later on when I'm free,

I'll make a video and show you.

Choosing thumbnail size in imgur worked for me
