This is one of the few websites I am able to connect to. Google, Bing, Reddit, YouTube, etc. all come up "Server Not Found". Is it just me or is something going on? I'm using Waterfox 52.0.1. I can't connect to their site to see if it's something with my browser. Thanks for the help.

My first guess is you have a very weak connection for whatever reason, and without sufficient incoming data it interprets the server as not found for other sites, but you have this site largely in your browser's cache memory so it doesn't need much data to connect.

What do you see when you turn out the light? I can't tell you but I know that it's mine.

It seems to be back. I thought of a weak signal but I have a 4G LTE router and it kept telling me I had 4 bars. When the signal gets weak it will switch into 3G mode and be really slow. It had been out all day. Microsoft Security Essentials couldn't connect to update either. I started running a scan about half an hour ago and now everything works. I'll have to see what the scan says when it's finished. Thanks for the help.

It seems to be back.

 

Could be something on your end or on your ISP. I had Chrome not being able to connect to some (maybe all) sites and restarting it fixed it (I know you're not using chrome, but I guess it may happen). Or if it's on the ISP, you could contact them and ask if they had any issues today, just so you know.

 

Or... you sure there's no storm breaking at your location? I'm getting that right now. Fun stuff!

      Turns out my 15th anniversary mission idea has already been done once or twice before! I've been beaten to the punch once again, but I suppose that's to be expected when there's over 170 FMs out there, eh? I'm not complaining though, I love learning new tricks and taking inspiration from past FMs. Best of luck on your own fan missions!

      I wanna play Doom 3, but fhDoom has much better features than dhewm3, yet fhDoom is old, outdated and probably not supported. Damn!
      Makes me think that TDM engine for Doom 3 itself would actually be perfect.

      Maybe a bit of advice ? In the FM series I'm preparing, the two main characters have the given names Toby and Agnes (it's the protagonist and deuteragonist, respectively), I've been toying with the idea of giving them family names as well, since many of the FM series have named protagonists who have surnames. Toby's from a family who were usually farriers, though he eventually wound up working as a cobbler (this serves as a daylight "front" for his night time thieving). Would it make sense if the man's popularly accepted family name was Farrier ? It's an existing, though less common English surname, and it directly refers to the profession practiced by his relatives. Your suggestions ?
