Who rules the Barbarian Horselords of the East?

I wonder who this mysterious, brutal figure could be. Is he a Genghis Khan or Attila the Hun type leader, a warlord who leaves a swathe of destruction behind him & his hordes? Surely he must be as intelligent & cunning as he is mighty, to rule a force that is capable of causing such attention to be brought to one side of the Empire, that the other side of said Empire was so underguarded that it split off to become Menoa.

Just kidding, i have no idea. There is so much lore which is literally unexplored, because there is no content available, or people simply didn't have the motivation to make missions for it. The pagans, for example. I loved those in the original Thiefs.

 

I imagine that the barbarians also have some kind of religious figure, like the pagans, and that they have brutal rites, and punishments for those not conforming to their codex. I would also imagine that they prefer their way of life, nomadism, and a free will, to the life in the cities, otherwise they probably would have already tried to force their way into those. Shame that there are no models for the Barbarians, i could imagine some interesting missions surrounding them. Still would prefer the Pagans though, as they're better integrated into the lore. I think, for the Barbarians, it's enough that they're some kind of threat for vendors outside the city.
