@Grayman, I've only lightly played the mission so far, and I gotta say: what a magnificently built level! The atmosphere, structure, and design all seem top notch, and I can't wait to have a bit more extra time to tackle this one.

So far, my only fair bit of criticism goes towards the intro and the loading screen, something that also affects previous WS missions: I'm a fairly fast reader and having to wait for the paragraph texts to slowly appear can be frustrating to say the least. I also think the display image for the intro should start zooming out at a decreased size, so it doesn't appear so pixelated at the beginning. Personally I think WS begs for a more traditional Thief-like voiced over slideshow, like on the two default TDM missions, but I understand it might not be your cup of tea. Finally, because I absolutely love the style of the loading screens for WS, I wonder if you could render them at a higher resolution, so they look prettier and less pixelated as well.

The mission is now available on the missions page and in-game downloader.

It seems that the preview image doesn't work. I think you need at least two images.

I'll try to fix that later today if I get a chance.

Congrats on the release!

Great little mission, sorry my beta testing wasn't very extensive, finding time is harder than I thought.

Little? It doesn't seem little to me :D

One question: why hitting a patrolling guy (the one with the sword) he literally flies?

Task is not so much to see what no one has yet seen but to think what nobody has yet thought about that which everybody see. - E.S.

Thank you for the FM, Grayman. I love these kinds of straightforward missions (sneak in, steal all the stuff, sneak back out).

I easily found all of the loot except for...

The basket outside Ales' office window.

Looking forward to WS part 6!

Thanks again :)

You cannot receive PMs. Could you please be so kind and check your mailbox if it is full (or maybe you switched off the function)?

I like the new frob highlight but it would nice if it was less "flickery" while moving over objects (especially barred metal doors).

Well then, it's been about a week since I released my first FM and I must say that I was very pleasantly surprised by its reception. I had expected half as much interest in my short little FM as I received and even less when it came to positive feedback, but I am glad that the aspects of my mission that I put the most heart into were often the most appreciated. It was also delightful to read plenty of honest criticism and helpful feedback, as I've already been given plenty of useful pointers on improving my brushwork, level design, and gameplay difficulty.
I've gotten back into the groove of chipping away at my reading and game list, as well as the endless FM catalogue here, but I may very well try my hand at the 15th anniversary contest should it materialize. That is assuming my eyes are ready for a few more months of Dark Radiant's bright interface while burning the midnight oil, of course!
