Carnage Posted May 21, 2019 Report Posted May 21, 2019 (edited) I know there are quite a few fans of stalker and metro on the forum, so this game will certainly be something for them. Expected release for PC is somewhere in 2019. Consoles one or two years later. Please delete one of my topics. I got a gateway timeout and therefore I posted twice Edited May 21, 2019 by Carnage Quote
jaxa Posted May 21, 2019 Report Posted May 21, 2019 PC release 1-2 years before console? Are they targeting PS5/XB2? Quote
demagogue Posted May 22, 2019 Report Posted May 22, 2019 I guess at this point this is a full-on genre now.Looks a little rough around the edges, but also more sandbox and open.I like it. Quote What do you see when you turn out the light? I can't tell you but I know that it's mine.
Carnage Posted May 22, 2019 Author Report Posted May 22, 2019 (edited) PC release 1-2 years before console? Are they targeting PS5/XB2? Maybe. On their Kickstarter they were talking about being a small team and such and not having the manpower to focus on both at the same time.I guess at this point this is a full-on genre now.Looks a little rough around the edges, but also more sandbox and open.I like it.Yeah looks like it, and I'm happy because there used to be just a few choices. Now we just need a few more good movies, because I've watched The Road too many times. There's an HBO mini-series at the moment called Chernobyl if you're interested. As far as I know it's a realistic series, so no monsters or anything. It's just about the pre and after events of the disaster. This demo is an alpha for Kickstarter backers, so it will certainly improve. Funny fact: The URL of this topic has the numbers 19986 Edited May 22, 2019 by Carnage Quote
stumpy Posted May 23, 2019 Report Posted May 23, 2019 can the ai shoot through tree trunks and other objects, that was one of the major problems with stalker, am hiding behind this tree, bang, dead, gameover. start from scratch in that swamp, with a gun with 4 bullets. actually finished the first game, twice due to it having an alternate ending.2nd game, computer died at a building with a lot of dogs, not the strange place with the warped tree, that also had a lot of dogs. STiFU Posted May 23, 2019 Report Posted May 23, 2019 Funny how that dude picks up a whole heap of junk in just an instance. :-D I am not to thrilled about this genre. I am looking forward to Atomic Heart, though. Chernobyl meets Bioshock. Quote

demagogue Posted May 26, 2019 Report Posted May 26, 2019 Stalker was one game where the bugs actually contributed to its charm. It was The Zone after all. It's almost to be expected its reality would breakdown every now and then. Quote What do you see when you turn out the light? I can't tell you but I know that it's mine.
