Just completed it ! Felt daunting at first but it's actually pretty doable in normal mode if you're a bit focused.

No issues with the wife being conscious thankfully. Can't y'all try some console command to knock her out?

I just finished this awesome mission and might be the luckiest person to have played it in a way that may have lessened my enjoyment of it. Here's some of the incredibly fortuitous things to have happened to me in my 90 min playtime:

- not even 10 mins into the mission I bump into the main antagonist, probably the 3rd NPC I encounter including Andreus. One quick arrow to the head and he's down.

- exploring the manor and I find the painting room, chased by 3 guards onto a balcony who all go down with a single, well aimed gas arrow. Great, now i have the gallery all to myself.

- finding the secret door to the Painter's Wife was again, completely random and by chance.

- aimlessly wander the rooftops looking for other stuff to steal, and whaddaya know, I stumble into the assassin's home. A fact I only knew upon clubbing her and getting a mission update, I initally thought she was just another random NPC.

It's like... I have spent longer on some 20mb 3-room missions than I have on this one. As I always do upon completing a mission, I had a cheeky fly about using NOCLIP to see what areas I missed, and yeah, I pretty much missed most of this one, including the clearly enormous sewer section. Other humorous quirks was the Painter's Wife unconscious body talking to herself on the journey back.

I was playing Doom 3, and I learned how to edit maps text-by-text, this should help me a lot with finding secrets and locations I hope.
That is, if I feel sneaky and greedy...Which I always do, can't get enough 100% a mission.

So on a regular basis I try to start building something in Darkradiant but very quickly I loose interest and give up.
      I tend to
create a room, position an ai in it (or first ai, then room, probably better) put a light in it Put some stuff in it test the room in tdm Now I had this new idea:
Start of with a gigantic room. To skip the importance of sealing for the time being and to think broader than one room. Then just use ground without wall, just to visualise the structure of the level.  Then just use prefab walls and other elements (arches, etc.). Just building area's that aren't enclosed. I can always close them at a later point. Maybe this is all very logical from a mappers perspective, but tdm is the first game where I have done any kind of real mapping and I always stop at the start. It just takes too long to make something exciting.
I want to build something at some point, because over time I accumulated lots of ideas.

It would be nice to have a link to the forum thread of a mission in download section, rather than having to search for it manually, like on Thief Guild.

Anaglypta , floral and damask wallpaper look great in older homes
It’s rare to see anyone using “shader not found” wallpaper in their house

Terribly difficult juggling map designing with work, but I'm still alive and chipping away at something very special. I'm actually making a collaboration of sorts with a friend, I make the map itself and he acts as my "Chief Scope Creep Consultant" that checks in every so often to make sure this project isn't getting out of hand. It's a good system!
