Counting loot within DarkRadiant

This is actually pretty useful right now. I'm just not familiar with how to add custom scripts to DR

If you find where your DarkRadiant is installed (i.e. C:\Program Files\DarkRadiant), you'll find a scripts/commands directory.  Just drop the .py file in there and it should show up in the Scripts menu.

I just tried it out, this is really handy. But yeah, the "If nothing is selected, display the total loot in the whole map" feature would be a pretty big quality of life improvement for the script, that way I don't have to select every layer, etc, etc.

That's a cool script! Thanks for sharing it.

My missions:           Stand-alone                                                      Duncan Lynch series

Thank you for the script, that’s really handy!

And if you get the time to implement that showing all loot without any selected that would be very handy :)

I finally got a chance to update the script.  If you have nothing selected it shows the total loot, and if you have at least one piece of loot selected it will show you both the selected and overall total loot.

You can grab the updated script from the exact same place as the original, and if everyone likes this version I'll add it into Darkradiant so it can be available by default when the next version comes out.

You cannot receive PMs. Could you please be so kind and check your mailbox if it is full (or maybe you switched off the function)?

I like the new frob highlight but it would nice if it was less "flickery" while moving over objects (especially barred metal doors).

Well then, it's been about a week since I released my first FM and I must say that I was very pleasantly surprised by its reception. I had expected half as much interest in my short little FM as I received and even less when it came to positive feedback, but I am glad that the aspects of my mission that I put the most heart into were often the most appreciated. It was also delightful to read plenty of honest criticism and helpful feedback, as I've already been given plenty of useful pointers on improving my brushwork, level design, and gameplay difficulty.
I've gotten back into the groove of chipping away at my reading and game list, as well as the endless FM catalogue here, but I may very well try my hand at the 15th anniversary contest should it materialize. That is assuming my eyes are ready for a few more months of Dark Radiant's bright interface while burning the midnight oil, of course!
