Wow, now that I've taken a closer look, this is a freakin' goldmine! Dozens of wooden plank textures alone! Imagine what this will do for our mapping division! Will we be able to provide them to our beta-mappers?

If the guy doesn't respond in a couple more games I'm just gonna buy the textures. We have permission after all, and the way the liscense is set up allows us to use em even if we didn't so long as we follow the guidelines...so I might as well.

It would appear that something is certainly wrong. Either he's not getting the emails, he's away on vacation, or he was not serious before. Has anyone been in contact? It doesn't take a month to answer email - even with just a "been busy, will get back to you asap."

Not really, the guy is just very busy atm. He still has the motivation and intends to donate the textures.

 

But his workload means that it's hard to arrange it. We just need to let his RL cool off a little. Dunno how long it might take, tbh.

We have Vigil's textures to play with for a bit...though if we can't arrange things with this guy in the next month or so, I think Ren and I (and whoever else can chip in) will go ahead and buy at least some of the packs.

I'm good with that. We should find a way to pool our money together and get em mailed out to either Spar or BT since they both live nearest to the guy. The less we have to pay S&H and the faster we get them the better.

More than likely, as soon as he hears (another) offer for TDM to purchase his textures, he'll offer them for free again. Assuming he didn't change his mind after thinking about it. Maybe that'll serve as a, "Can we get this rolling, then?"
